GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1875-1908)
The small, deep bowl is decorated on the exterior with the Eight Immortals standing on clouds from which issues vapor that separates the figures. The interior is painted with a central medallion of Shoulao seated with two other immortals beneath a pine tree.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Aynsley in the mid 19th century.
It is not marked but we recognize the specific style of design on the border that Aynsley used. The plate measures 9 inches in diameter. It is made of fine bone china. Statue of God Hung Hsien Tati, a protector, also called The Great Emperor, The Immortal, in military garb, holding a bowl in his left hand. He was probably holding a sword in his right hand, but the sword is now missing. The god's right foot is resting on his tiger, while his left foot is resting on a dragon. An antique Japanese Ko Tansu (personal storage chest) made of Kiri (Paulownia) and Sugi (Cryptomeria) woods. All original hand forged iron hardware with auspicious Paulownia leaf lock plates and Warabite handles. The original finish was done in a wiped Urushi lacquer technique for both the drawer fronts and the tansu body.
It was used in a wealthy Japanese home to store personal effects, ephemera, writing tools, and other miscellaneous sundries...
A very unusual & original Han well with the "jing" design, symbol for well and two intertwined snakes for the handle. There is some iridescence at the bottom of the base of the green glaze from age. Green glaze was used to make it look like bronze. Size: H. 30.5cm W.16cm.
Condition: Very small repair on the underside of the rim, otherwise in very good condition. See photo.

This is Egata used for the Taisho era period. As for this, a ramie spun by hand is used.
This is drawn in Tsutsugaki. This is a natural indigo plant, and both sides are dyed.
Egata dyed only by indigo dyeing in Okinawa dyeing and weaving is rare.
This does not have stain damage at all. The state is good.

This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1800. It has the first quality under glaze crossed swords mark. The style of the cup is from the early Biedermeire Period, 1815 -1848. The saucer measures 4 3/4 inches in diameter. The cup is 3 inches tall (without the handle) and has a diameter of 2 3/4 inches. The front of the cup has a very intricate scene of a city Bautzen. There was great variety in the forms of architecture making it an interesting subject matter...
