Antique Japanese kuruma tansu, or wheeled chest, made of solid Keyaki (elm) wood. This chest features a large iron Phoenix lock plate with beautiful flowing tail feathers on the topmost drawer, as well as the bottom wheeled area. Themes of chrysanthemums, peonies, lotuses, and kiri leaves are incised into the decorative iron plating, with side locking box for small valuables.

A serene, excavated Bronze Shan State Buddha seated and subduing Mara position. This very old item was excavated from a Stupa and has remnants of soil as well as a naturally formed patina. Very good condition. Size 11.5 cm x 8.5 cm (4.5" x 3.5").
Edwardian sterling silver baby cup. Made by William B. Kerr in Newark, ca 1915. Upward tapering sides and scroll handle. Acid etched frames with animals, including an elephant, camel, and gazelle. Frame with American eagle has vacant space for engraving the name of the cutest and cuddliest beast. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. 1684. Very good condition.

Antique Japanese copper censer with handles. The pierced copper lid has a repousse design of a dragon in swirling storm clouds with lightening. The body of the censer is hammered copper and has two warabite shaped handles on either side.

This is Japanese Indigo dye shibori Baby boro kimono meiji(1868-1912). Baby's indigo dye shibori kimono is rare. Textile seems to be hand spun and woven.
It is thick indigo dye cotton. There are a stain and little damage. It is warm very cotton of touch. The lining is also very charming.
