A nice blue and white cup decorated with precious emblems pattern. Ming dynasty 15th century. Overall very good condition found excavated in South Sulawesi area. Height: 4 cm and Diameter: 6 cm.

Song - Yuan dynasty longquan celadon large plate with twin fish motif, good condition size: 21.5 cm diameter.

It was carved by a late 19th century or early 20th century artist Ryuzan (柳山). It depicts a smiling mother holding an umbrella and carrying a child on her back. It is 7 1/2" high and 2 3/4" wide (from the bottom) and 2 3/8" thick (from the bottom). It is in great condition.

A beautifully gold accented imari small dish from old Japan, detailed and profusely decorated with tendrils and flora with a well painted mythical Kylin; the contrast is simply stunning and well defined, condition is excellent and the enamels well preserved, minor glaze imperfection on the backside, but hardly worth mentioning save for accuracy sake, we date this beauty to the Meiji period pre-1900. A very Rare Shape of Total Blue Water Dropper: Choson Dynasty, 19th century This rare and unusual shape of water dropper formed as a stylized star-shape, and is decorated in a thick blue underglaze and a sunken well on the top. It is in good condition except one tiny chip repaired on rim. It bears a label on the bottom. Measures 3 ½” x 1 ¼”, ***provenance; Spink & Son Ltd., London

This is a lovely ancient Egyptian Scarab, c. 1200 BC, from the famous Mitry collection (see our Homepage). It is 1/2” long (13 mm) and made of steatite, an easy-to-carve stone that hardens when heated. Scarabs empowered life and resurrection and were often placed under mummy wrappings to protect the body and help it resurrect. This Scarab comes in a jewelry display cup.

A good abalone shaped, awabi-gata, Ko Imari dish decorated in some-nishikide style with a sansui style Landscape. The reverse decorated in under-glaze blue with boats and islands and within the foot-ring and within a single ring a mountain fuku, good fortune, mark. The dish measures 6.5 inches or 16.5cm in length and 5.125 inches or 13cm in width, and 1.5 inches or 4cm in height, and is in good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. Shipping at Cost.

Pair of cast bronze incense holders. The lower part is a tripod composed of 3 dragon heads. The upper part is a lotus leaf and 3 buds. In the center of the sheet is welded a hollow rod that can contain an incense stick. The cast bronze has defects. A beautiful old patina attests to a great age of several centuries. A broken foot is reattached. A label bears the number 37 without any other reference, but we do not know which collection it is. Height:29cm. 17th century or earlier...

105" long late Meiji to early Showa period Japanese ink and color on silk scrolled painting by Yagioka Shunzan (1879-1941) depicting figures on a boat in a landscape scene. A craggy cliff with pine outcroppings rises sharply above the emerging boat. Signed in black ink at the lower right and with the artist's red seal below. Early 20th century. Scroll: 105" x 28 7/8" (painting: 63" x 22 1/8"). Very good overall condition...

A sterling silver and parcel-gilt teaspoon in the Irving pattern, patented by the firm of Robert Wallace in 1899. The pattern was reissued in 1975 under a different name, but this is the original from around 1900. The spoon blade engraved “St. James”. Marks: Pat. 1899 RW (deer head) & S Sterling. Length "5 1/3 / 13.7 cm. Condition: fine.

Well, this was recently acquired from the estate of a 100 year old resident. The nickel plated shaver is in very nice condition, complete with a blade and box that is lined in a purple velvet type material. The interior is labeled “ANTICOR – The Saftey Corn Shaver” and the directions are printed on the label noted on the bottom of the box.

The box measures 4 inches long and is in good condition.

Ivory netsuke, belonging to the Osaka school, portraying a tiger lying on a section of bamboo, with its head turned backwards and its tail to the side. It has an excellent patina, subject and shine. This is an old & small Chinese yixing teapot made during the Early 19th Century in red clay. The teapot has a small chip on the base of the rim. It's marked with MENGCHEN on the base.

A lovely large Assyro-Babylonian stamp seal with a particlarly interesting shape, carved of fine smoky grey calchedony, c. 9th.-7th. cent. BC.

The scaraboid is carved almost like an oval hat with a pointy raised center and sides tappering inwards. The engraving on the base is of a large seated winged animal in the drill style.

Height approximately 28 cm. In good condition.
