A truly spectacular example of early Roman glass, being a sea-green bowl of shallow rounded form with a smooth edge and 28 exterior pronounced ribs converging at the bottom. A wheel cut triple band circles the lower flattened section of the bowl.

This Chinese Jia Qing or Dao Guang period (1796~1850) hand painted enamel leaf-shaped tray is 12 ¼ inches long, 8 ¼ inches on the widest part and 1 1/8 inches high with legs.
