A delightful Georgian lacquered papier-maché snuffbox or tobacco box. The hinged cover is decorated with a handpainted scene depicting a court scene. The sides of the box are painted in colorful floral tracery against a dark green ground. The bottom is decorated with a large gilt medallion against a black background. Interestingly, the facial characteristics of the two people appear to be Chinese, but the interior decor is most definitely in the Persian taste...
Found in the Philippines.
These identical jars feature a translucent green Qingbai-type glaze that pools on its carved lines. Its moulded structural form is covered by a roof tiled lid. Their base remains unglazed.
Measurements: approximately, H 6”inches.
Condition: both are in excellent condition.

English Bone China Tea Cup and deep Saucer, with hand painted green floral design with gold trim on the rims, Ca. before 1800, maybe Coalport, 5 3/4" diameter and 1 1/4" high-saucer, 2 3/4" high and 3 1/2" wide with handle-cup, the gold rims are somewhat rubbed off, no damages.

A small bronze mirror of bulls eye form, 69mm in diameter 7.5mm in height with a rounded boss surrounded by a thin raised concentric ring to the centre with a raised edge and partial concave profile to the rim. Elegant sterling silver large berry spoon in Whiting's wonderful 1896 "Dresden" pattern. The handle is completely covered on both sides with a complex floral pattern against a lightly stippled background. The bowl has scalloped edges and an elegant repousse pattern. The original gilding on the bowl has faded to a faint lemony hue. The back is marked with Whiting's hallmark and "Pat. Apr. 28th 1896", indicating that this is an older piece.

Korea, Goguryo (高句麗-BC37-AD668) dynasty (one of 3 King Domes), made in 5th -6th century.
The circular tile is unusually thick and heavy, finely molded with a symbol of
flower head surround by stylish sharp lotus, and traces white likely cement on surfaces.
It is in very good condition with patina but some rim tiny chips due to use and age,
It measures 15.3 cm s 5.2 cm. weight: 3.25 lbs.
A simple one line Chinese calligraphy attributing to Chi Xizhao (1793-1866). The calligraphy reads: The pure jade harmonizing with the gold with the pure wind in the forest of treasure. The work is dated to year of the water boar (approximately 1863), mid spring. Chi Xizhao was a noted Qing Period poet. Chi Xizhao was a scholar of the xueshi rank during the Jiaqing period. This scroll originally was one of a pair.
