An antique Japanese Choba Tansu (merchant chest) made of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. All original hand forged iron hardware including the stylized Gumbai handles and full moon lock plates. 6 drawers of varying sizes allow for generous storage. Sliding doors open to a split level compartment where merchant business books and records were kept. Hinged security door to the lower right hides two additional small drawers where store valuables were kept...

This is a late southern Song dynasty black glazed eight lobed ewer. It stands on a short recessed base exposing the buff colour earthen clay material. The glaze is generally preserved.

Overall, it is in good condition. No repair, chip or restoration. As can be seen in photograph 4, there are three spots of glaze crazing and minute pin holes at the spout area and the body near the spout...

This wonderful 18K Scottish fob features an imposing tower, the symbol for the Mason family crest. The fob is carved with a motto which reads "Demeure Par La Verite" and translates to "Keep Fast By the Truth". Keep fast by the truth is rooted in the bible: from the Gospel of John, it means remain faithful to the word of God and one will be rewarded with a fruitful life. Large Chinese Tang Dynasty Painted Pottery Camel with Oxford TL Test

This impressive pottery model of a Bactrian camel was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). It is made from a pale buff-coloured pottery, has good detail and has been "cold painted" in a base coat of a creamy-white pigment with details picked out in brown, red and black pigments. The camel stands upright and alert with its head held high and turned a little to its left. Its two humps are particularly prominent...

We love baby rings, worn around the knuckle or worn clipped to a large split ring and worn around a chain, or simply collected in honor of a new baby. Our Victorian baby ring has rose diamonds encased in gold, spaced evenly around the band. The band has a royal blue enamel border on both top and bottom of the band. The blue enamel is itself accented by a slender border of gold. The combination of the rose diamonds set in gold with the enamel blue detail make this an exceptional baby ring...

A fine Dr. Wall Worcester sauce boat in the "Two-handled Sauceboat Landscape" pattern, with the oval body modelled with two shell shaped lips and applied with two double-scroll handles with thumb-rests. Exterior is embossed with garlands of leaves which form four circular reserves, each with an Oriental scene. The interior also displays a large Oriental scene. A workman's mark is on the underneath of the base.

Condition of this piece is excellent, especially for this particular form...

Victorian Forget Me Not ring 15K set with six turquoise stones in a radial pattern, 3 supporting turquoises on each side and a diamond at center. The flower literally means “Forget me not” and the small rose diamond in the centre signifies eternal love. The band is ornately carved to enhance the delicacy of the ring. The ring no longer has hair behind crystal back but few examples have survived with this intact. The ring dates to C1880 and is a size 8.
