A very fine early cut crystal wine decanter with etched grapevine decoration. The neck is panel cut and accented with a diamond-cut ring at the base. The panel cutting extends past the ring on the shoulders and resumes at the base. The sides are beautifully decorated with an etched grapevine pattern. The etching is finely done. A smaller Danish Neolithic Hardstone Axe with an unfinished hole near the butt. Likely Funnelbeakerculture, mid-late 4th mill. BC.
Axes like these probably had a religious status, and are rather scarce.

Pearlware dinner plate in the Curbing palms pattern, by Job Ridgway, transfer printed in blue, unmarked. Job Ridgway’s manufacture worked for only a short period, 1802 – 1813. A variation of the Willow border and an additional Nankin border surround an Oriental landscape with curbing palm trees and exotic pagodas. Diameter "9 ¾ / 24.7 cm. Condition: fine.
Relic of the Nile is pleased to present his large Ptah-Sokar-Osiris figure with original base. The figure has nice facial features with some black cosmetic details remaining and a well-carved osiris beard. While the pigment has been lost throughout the piece there are still traces of the broad collar and vertical column that originally likely contained hieroglyphics showing the name of the owner. The figure is well-carved with only some losses to the neck area...
Painting on woven paper. An unusual and surprising technique. The paper is cut out then this woven paper is painted. However there is a subtlety because in some places only the vertical strips are painted and not the horizontal ones which shows us colored squares alternating with unpainted squares which gives a blurred effect anticipating our "pixels" and which, I think, gave the illusion of a woven fabric...

It has a tooled gallery around the back plate, an integrated fire fender and floor surround and a space in the bed of the fireplace possibly for a wood cradle or grate (not present)...
