A Five Dynasties to Northern Sung Yue yao celadon saucer, it is in good condition no crack, no restoration except some glaze degradation as shown and one very tiny 2mm chip on the reverse rim. Indeed a nice collection piece in any chinese or japanese art collection. Please enquire....

This pair of porcelain goblets or chalices was produced in England by Royal Worcester in the late 1870s. The mark goes off the edge of the porcelain not showing the date letter assigned to the year they were produced. The famous Worcester artisan, George Owen, was the first to perfect the art of double walled porcelain. The chalices are 7 ¾ inches high with a diameter of 3 5/8 inches at the opening. The outer layer of porcelain on the bodies is delicately pierced in honeycomb fashion...

An antique traditional women's folk costume headdress from Bavaria. Made of black silk and embellished with velvet and jet beads. The top of the bonnet decorated with glass beads, sequins, silk and metal threads, and eight attached damask silk ribbons. Checkered cotton lining. Condition: traces of usage and wear, few missing beads and ribbons with few tiny tears and holes, little dusty. Dimension approx.: bonnet c. 14.5 x 16 x 9 cm, length of ribbons: up to c. 79 cm.

Beautiful keyaki wood choba tansu (merchant's chest), from the Matsumoto region of Japan. It has a beautiful allover woodgrain and has black iron hardware with iron studding. It has two sliding panels with an iron lock down its center, drawers of varying sizes with warabite handles, and a pull-away panel with a kan (ring pull) handle, opening to a small compartment. Size: 34.5" height, 31.5" width, 14.25" depth

From our Chinese Blue and White Collection, an absolutely superb Kangxi Mark and Period Charger, 1662-1722, depicting an elegant lady in a garden pavilion tending to a lit censer while her servant stands adjacent with a ruyi-shaped fan. An egret flies overhead and two rabbits sit in the foreground beneath a banana leaf plant. On the outer rim, there are four cartouches of other elegant ladies interspersed with four cartouches of flowering plants, all separated by key fret reserves...

A vase decorated with a swirling dragon on the neck, lid is missing. Yuan/MIng dynasty Fujian type Qingbai ware. Condition with tiny chip to unglazed rim. Acquired at Taipei about 25 years ago.Height: 20,5 cm

Partly gilt wood statue of Buddhist goddess Sho Kannon Bosatsu (one of the many forms of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara), wearing formal robes, and a diadem with a small stylised Amithaba on the front, standing, her hands joined to hold a bowl. The goddess face reflects a profound meditation. Fine age patina. Japan, Edo period, early 19th century, maybe earlier. Height: 24.2 cm. Old insect attack on the right side (no more danger), otherwise very good condition.

Late 18th to early 19th century iron Japanese sword tsuba depicting a scholar peacefully fishing by a stream under a rock with vines and pine growing on it, design continues on the back showing clumps of bamboo grass. Nicely designed quiet piece with perfectly captured mood, wonderful quality work with silver and gold inlays, in great condition. Height 3 5/16 inches.

Antique Japanese small ko tansu (personal chest) made of kiri (paulownia) wood with lovely grain. On the left, a compartment is opened by a pair of sliding doors. To the right are two small drawers one over the other. Below this are two full-width drawers. Elegant and understated bronze hardware.

Tibetan Himalayan region Tsampa Tea Bowl, hard Silver wrapped Burlwood Tea Bowl, Ca. 1900, 2 1/2" high, 4" diameter on top rim, Silver impressed and raised Buddhist design on high foot wrapped around the bottom. Red Wax Seal mark in the center of the bottom. Hand hammered mark inside silver bowl, not a damage.

A beautiful pair of antique Chinese huanghuali wood chairs, warm tone, rattan seats, lovely sloping carved underside panels. Heavy in weight, beautifully hand pick huanghuali wood grain. Stunning Pair. Early 20th Century Size: 46" height, 19.75" width, 17.25" depth

This is a bronze dagger from the Dong Son culture in ancient Southeast Asia. It measures roughly 263 mm and weighs 144 grams. It has a spectacular cuprite crystal patina on one side that I could not capture in the photos. There are also the remnants of a wood scabbard in the patina that should be visible in the photos.This piece has stable metal with a sculpted round handle and slender triangular blade. There are no signs of repair to this wonderful dagger.

A Chinese Blue White Ewer from the 16th/17th century. Height approximately 21 cm. The tip spout and part of the rim have been repaired.
