Antique Japanese tansu made from Keyaki (zelkova) wood with a deep red lacquer and a gorgeous woodgrain. It has a central vertical lockbar with ornate iron decorations over two large drawers, with squared handles. Key included.

A beautiful, hand enameled cup-and-saucer set, made by either Moser or Monot & Stumpf (of France). The under-plate is 4 3/8 inches (11 cm) wide, while, the cup is 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) wide and 1 3/4 inches (4,5 cm) tall. They are both in fine condition. There is slight fluorescence when they are subjected to long-wavelength UV light - so, they were probably made around 1900.
A beautiful, hand-painted art glass vase, made probably by either Moser or Mont Joye. The vase is 10 1/4 inches (26 cm) tall and 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) wide at the bottom. It is in good condition (age-appropriate gilt loss), without chips, cracks or repairs. The vase is ribbed and has bubbles inside, typical of old glass items. The vase fluoresces a gentle-green when subjected to long-wavelength black-light - typical of 19th century or early 20th century soda-lime glass objects...

This porcelain coffee cup and saucer was produced in Vienna in the 1880s. The beehive mark is under the glaze. The saucer has a diameter of 51/2 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The ground color is a deep forest green. There is a reserve on the cup with a hand painted scene. It is artist signed “Horan” and the scene is entitled, “Amor am Pranger” or Love Contained. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Franziska Hirsch Dresden decorating studio in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/8 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. It is a bit larger than a demitasse so I believe it was made for afternoon tea. The set is hand painted with vibrantly colored flowers. Little sprigs dot the interior of the cup. There is lacy gold trim on the rims and gilded accents on the handle.

A very fine and rare antique glass paperweight by Pairpoint. There sphere encloses a translucent red and opaque white double twist within a cloud of controlled bubbles. The foot is engraved in a design known as "Pattern No. 220". Pairpoint called this design "Veneti" and used it to produce candlesticks, compotes, vases and stemware. Veneti paperweights are quite uncommon.
