This Dominguez displays turquoise stones that have all warmed with time which collectors long for. While having a wearable length of 17inches it is also quite wide at 1 1/15th inches. This Matilde Poulat Mexico City folkloric bracelet in the Moth design has the early 30's mark of 930. Her taller Matl produced her heaviest silver work in it's beginnings. The bracelet is repousse and 7in. long. It is large measuring 1.75 in. tall. There are lines and matrix in the turquoise but no cracks or chips. The Hector Aguilar Glyph is a rare treasure from the Mexican Silver Renaissance. This one has a 990 mark making the silver almost pure. It is soft to the hand and more white in color. These matching Tobias cuffs were purchased together and have stayed together through time so I am continuing the tradition here with presenting them as a pair. An Art Deco sterling and gold front step side signet ring from the 1920s. This size 5-1/2 ring has a central 9/16 x 5/16" overlay gold front with a Gothic letter (an E or F, we think) with a corner hand engraved embellishment. These rectangular cuff links are composed of a central band of ebony flanked with two bands of rosewood inset on a sterling silver panel. The hinged bars are marked Lewittes for California-based modernist designer Esther Lewittes. Aside from one slightly misshapen bridge bar, they are in lovely condition, with only minor signs of wear, and no loss to the wood. The cuff links measure 1 inch long by ¾ inch wide by 1/8 inch deep.

Sometimes when hunting for great old Mexican Silver you run into a lesser known artist's treasure like this one I am listing today. The red poured glass bordered with beading is striking. These earrings are from the 'Future' line of jewelry manufactured by Hans Hansen between 1932 and 1948. They hang 2 3/4" long, weigh 14 grams total and are signed as shown. This Matl by Matilde Poulat is a rare design and bears the old Hallmarks when Matilde was working and designing in her shop. Under the stones the silver is cut out so light can pour through.
