An unusual stone weight with a young boy riding a foo dog. The corners each have little foo dogs playing with their ball. The base has a key fret design. This is a very special weight and unique in it's design. It is my understanding that these weights were used in making paper. Size: W. 31.5 x 23cm. H. 19cm. Condition: No repairs or chips.

A lovely bronze statue was in legendary subject of Laozi(or Lao-tzu)Riding Ox.
In small size but was well cast and was carved nicely, the statue obtained enduring old darken patina when brownish metal sheen revealed underneath.

Date: Late Ming or Early Qing periods, 16th/17th centuries.

A rare and very 18th century large scholar's standing screen. The front of the screen is painted red with a gilded mountain scene. The back is painted black with the remains of a good luck symbol. Showing two pomegranate fruits borne on a leafy stem, in carved cinnabar, ochre and green lacquer, on a carved floret-swastika diaper ground. The sides of the box with hexagonal floret diaper. A Chinese jade carving shaped as a lotus pod and incised and carved with prunus flowers, the endless knot and a bird in flight. The stone is of celadon hue mottled with russet. This is an elegant and superbly carved composition depicting auspicious objects . Age: 17/18 C. condition: excellent, no breaks no restoration. It comes with a wooden stand. size: 6.5cm x 7.5 cm x 2.5 cm thickness. (2 1/2 inches X 3 inches X 1 2/5 inches).

Chinese Qing dynasty Qianlong period ribbed guglet vase decorated in fencai famille rose enamels with birds among flowering fruit trees, rockery, and bamboo all set against a white porcelain ground. 18th century. 10 1/4” high. Very good overall condition. The vase is slightly misshapen. There are burst bubbles in the glaze at the rim and scattered throughout that are consistent with production at that time...

Description: One small but uniquely cast bronze censer was in decent look. Made of fine quality of metal material, the bronze censer was in good weight of 208 gram when in a lovely size of 6.1 cm in width and 4.6cm in height. By a unique trumpet form, the bronze bowl was easy to hold in the palms feeling the warmth, sniffing the aroma of the burning incense when in incense practicing ritual.
