This is a charming lobed shaped tea-pot standing on four small individual feet. On one side it has a painting of a pair of sparrow in a blooming lotus pond. On the other side, it has a poem written on it. Circa. early Chinese Republic period 1940s-1950s.

No hairline crack, glaze fritting, damage, repair or restoration. The tea-pot is in good condition.

The dimension of the tea-pot: The height is 11.7cm, the length is 22cm and the width is 10cm.

A pair of Jizhou jars was intriguingly molded in imitation of two woven bamboo boxes.
By typical characteristics of sticking-rice-like body clay which revealed at the lower portion of the boxes and the flat foot rings, the ware’s glaze was kept in very good condition.
On the surface, clear and crispy patterns were beautifully defined. Hand-crafted knobs were skillfully added on the top of the caps.
Some adhesives were preserved on the surface for authentication...

This is an exceptional very rare poster, not only showing three beautiful girls with elongated bodies, but it also shows the the furniture of the Qing period. Size: 76cm X 50.8cm. Condition: Very good.

This is an original old Chinese poster of two women (actually men disguised as women) advertising cigarettes. Very early poster women were not allowed to pose for these posters. Original posters are almost impossible to find. I had acquired these posters many years ago in Beijing and forgot I had the. Just discovered them recently. Age: 1920s. Size: 76cm x 51cm. Condition: Some fraying around the edges and minor rips from age.

Large Chinese porcelain jardiniere or fish bowl with wide mouth and flattened rim decorated with gilt crabs and fish swimming among aquatic plants on a powder blue ground. Unglazed foot and base. Qing dynasty (late 19th century). 12 ¼”H x 14 ¼” diameter. Weighs about 18 lbs. Very good overall condition with no chips or cracks. Some soiling to the interior from use and typical wear to the gilt decoration. This piece was purchased from an Arizona collection.

Description: A handsome Cizhou censer in tripod shape was in quite good look. Flat rim was supported by dented neck which with straight wall. And after that is the bulge belly which was applied on the surface with typical glittering black slip and where the astonishing russet mottles were decorated on. The feet were unglazed and revealed with obvious light brownish tint caused by firing. Hand-craft characteristics of the everted style and the finger imprints were joyfully observed at the feet...

Chinese Qing dynasty (19th century) Daoist priest’s robe densely embroidered in a pattern of complex iconographical symbols set against a pale celadon silk background created entirely from satin-stitch embroidery. The style is the traditional rectangular front-opening form which rests on the shoulders and has the lower part of the sides sewn together to form armholes. The center back is embroidered with a flame-bordered circular cartouche containing a pagoda flanked by flying birds...

Chinese late Qing dynasty (late 19th century) woman's rank badge embroidered with a central satin-stitched silver pheasant with very nicely detailed feathers. A single bat hovers below the sun at the upper right. This Mandarin square would have been worn by the wife of a 5th rank civil official. Description: An unique bottle vase of Northern Song Dynasty was applied with single black glaze. Intriguingly molded in double gourd shape with rope-twist handles, the bottle stands by its splayed and well-shaped foot ring. While the dark glaze being neatly trimmed to the lower half of the belly, the full ovoid body showed its original grey clay beneath. Dust-like incursions were obvious all over the surface when the glaze reflection was introspective and charming...

Description: A Ge-typed porcelaneous censer was in tripod cylindrical shape. With beautiful crackle glaze, the censer expressed an elegant literati taste by its simple form. Kiln firing red was developed obviously between the glaze and body clay when numerous bubbles squeezing together all over the surface under the pale-blue tint. It was believed as an excavation piece. The inner side on the wall was left with marks of spreading roots...

Description: A rare and lovely Yaozhou russet-glazed incense burner was in simple form. Wide-mouthed and with high-set shoulders when the neck is narrowed and the lip is rolled, the jarlet was applied with persimmon glaze inside and out of the surface. The bottom was flat and was concaved to a round circle. The unglazed base had turned to a buff skin during firing, and in a firm quality which were all the characteristics for a Yaozhou ware. From the mature craftsmanship, the characteristics of the facial features and the honey brownish patina which was caused from the enduring age, the wood work can be dated as one masterpiece from 16th century of Ming Dynasty. Description: A Jianyang Temmoko ware was in rare meiping form. In pitch-black glaze, the elegant bottle vase was applied with subtle silver oil spots all over the surface which can hardly be shown in my pictures. For authenticating, thin web-like crackles were dispersed in the glaze when incursions were obvious on the mouth rim. Exemplifying the serene beauty of Song sculptural art, the deity’s head dress was an ornate tiara which had been partially damaged.
In holy facial expression, the Bodhisattva was molded and carved by the features of a Chinese lady.
