Chinese late Qing dynasty bombe form porcelain censer with two lion dog mask handles at the sides. The censer is covered on the exterior in an oxblood flambé (sang-de-boeuf) glaze applied over a cream colored glaze which is visible where the glaze thins. The oxblood glaze flows over the interior edge onto a crackled gray interior glaze. The base is unglazed and burnt orange. The characteristically rough foot rim is unglazed. Description: A strand of rosaries was assembled by 108 pieces of old Zhi-Tan beads. Among them, old coral and elephant bone beads were decorated. Old beads were getting hard to find. A large and elegant Wa-gumi basket by Yufu Shohaku signed on the base made up of alternating strips of finely braided bamboo rope and bands of raw bamboo. This is a dramatic work measuring 22 x 20 x 14 inches (56 x 50 x 35 cm).

Description: A scholar bronze water basin was in lovely pumpkin shape. Covered with typical old patina on the surface and left pigment between the lobes, the item was kept in very good condition except some minor dents which was not unusual to an old piece. One later made dip was accompanied with this piece as a perfect match. Date: 18th/19th Century. Width: 5.3cm, Weight: 51gram.
