Chinese late Qing dynasty export porcelain jardinière, or planter, decorated around the circumference in famille rose enamels with an assortment of precious objects set against a white ground. A ruyi head border encircles the exterior rim and a geometric band is above the foot. The canted rim is decorated in an orange-red band. The white glaze extends part way down into the unglazed interior. The base and foot rim are unglazed...
A hand forged Uchidashi Iron votive tablet in the form of a Shojo sake sprite knocking back a massive cup. It is 84 x 58 cm (33 x 23 inches) and in fine condition, enclosed in the original black wooden frame. Uchidashi is a technique of hand hammering shapes and images into iron from behind, and is highly valued in Japan, a land where metal was extremely scarce and hand formed from iron ore up to the Meiji period. This dates from the 19th century.
A elegant lacquerware for monastery use. Made in Kyaukka, in the lower Chindwin District in Burma, made from woven matting and coiled bamboo and lacquered in black and red. This piece has six sections. These original Kyaukka pieces are difficult to come by.

Chinese Qing dynasty Guangxu period cylindrical form rouleau vase with a narrow columnar neck and cupped rim, decorated overall in gilt with cranes flying among stylized lucky clouds set against a powder blue ground. A band of lappets extends around the circumference of the base. The angled shoulder is encircled by a band of bats and scrolling foliage. Two underglaze blue concentric circles are on the white porcelain base. The vase stands 14 1/4” high and dates from the late 19th century...
This attached pair of red silk embroidered strips would have been worn as an accessory on the back of a man's hat so that they draped down the nobleman's back. There are mirror images of 2 pairs dragons on each side, embroidered with metal threads. Excellant condition and approx 30 inches in length.
Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period ewer molded in the form of a seated monkey holding a peach with a young monkey on its lap painted on the biscuit in an iridescent susancai palette of aubergine, green, and yellow. The bent arm forms the handle and a hat is the lid. The base is unglazed. Measures 8” high by about 6 ½” across from handle to spout. Late 19th century. Very good overall condition with original lid...
A finely mold Junyao Meiping was in decent form.
It was decorated on the surface with characteristic and favored purple splashes.
Obviously unearthed from burial, the bottle was found on the surface with harden adhesives when wiring glaze crackles were yielded in a charming way.

A beautiful ancient glass bangle in blueish green color. This probably from Vietnam or Cambodia. Size: Outside diameter 6.9cm.
Condition: Almost perfect. A very small almost invisible chip on the outside edge.
A nicely carved natural amber pendant of the Hand of Buddha Citron. There is a hole at the top on the piece so it can be worn as a pendant. The citron fruit may be given as a religious offering in Buddhist temples. According to tradition, Buddha prefers the "fingers" of the fruit to be in a position where they resemble a closed rather than open hand, as closed hands symbolize to Buddha the act of prayer. Size: L. 3.9cm. W. 1.5cm. Condition: Perfect.
A very rare and beautiful Pyu agate carved bird. A hole is drilled from the top of the head to the bottom of the bird so it can be worn as a pendant. The bird is still the symbol for Burma. Size: L. 3cm.

An ancient necklace made from fossilized wood also know as Pumtek. The word Pumtek means "buried thunderbolt". This type of necklace is very rare.

Lovely lobed dishes with a creamy white glaze. Diameter 11,2 cm. Very good condition, one of the dishes with some light brown stains, due to its long time in the soil. Song Dynasty (960-1279).
A pair of antique silver arm cuff bracelets worn by the women of the Turkmen Ersari tribe. From an old Swiss collection. Cf. Schletzer, Dieter, and Reinhold: Old Silver Jewellery of the Turkoman: An Essay on Symbols in the Culture of Inner Asian Nomads. Berlin: D. Reimer, 1983: No. 217. A model of He Xiangu holding a flower basket, the only female deity among the Eight Immortals. Worked in silver and enamel, the head, hands and basket are detachable. Base marked with Chinese characters. Dating to the late Qing or early 20th century. Condition: losses to enamel and some oxydations under the enamel, one earring with small loss. Please look carefully at the photos. Dimension: 29.8 cm high, weight: over 500 g.
A very rare carved wooden Buddha dating back to the 15th century or before. Size: H. 26.5cm. Condition: Natural ageing. The right hand is missing and a portion of the base has worn away.
Chinese Qing dynasty Yongzheng to Qianlong period round form deep plate decorated in underglaze blue on a white porcelain ground with a central panel of lotus flowers and leaves surrounded by a band of peonies and scrolling foliage extending around the well. A similar band decorates the exterior. The base and foot rim are unglazed. 11” diameter x 2” high. 18th century. Very good overall condition. There are original production flaws along the rim (see enlargement 11)...
