Large Chinese Jin dynasty (1125-1234) Henan globular form stoneware jar with a high neck decorated on opposite sides of the shoulder with two appliqué dragons running around the circumference of the horizontally ribbed body. The interior is fully glazed and the exterior glaze stops well above the unglazed base. The rich black/brown glaze, referred to as “temmoku” by the Japanese, is permeated with russet accents. 7 3/4" high x 9" diameter.

Description: A dark black glazed bowl was found from a shipwrecked hoard of South East Asia. Produced probably from Fujian kiln, this beautiful black bowl was preserved with original charming glaze condition only with one minor glaze defect
on the mouth rim. This bowl had been cleaned meticulously with boiled water and ready for real use. Some coral adherence were kept for authentication and for original mood.
Date: Southern Song to Yuan Dynasty(13-14th Century)

Porcelain charger glazed in blue and white and copper red. Diameter 27 cm. Jiajing period (1796-1820). Some chips to the rim, but no cracks or repairs.

Description: A beautiful Qingbai incense burner was mold in a stylized shape.
By an everted foot and with hollowed –out cloud patterns being decorated, the box was intriguingly covered by a reticulated cover.
It was obviously an porcelain copy from a metal prototype-which was commonly seen from the heritage of Tang dynasty when the Persia culture were affluent.
It was in perfect condition only with some incursions along the rims.
And the excavation earth was preserved for verif...

Description: An interesting stamp store's seal was kept in perfect condition. With inscription of Chan Ann Zhai Inn Pu Chang-Chan Ann Zhai Stamp's Store Seal, this wood stamp which stood for the store that had produced numerous stamps for it's clients now was the only one left. Good patina and full of stories were what this old stamp attracted me. Date: Early 20th Century.

One fan painting features beauties at a temple surrounded by clouds holding celestial maidens and a deer. A monkey is paying homage to a female who is seated on a lotus throne. With tauted posture, serene facial expression, the religious image was still imposing even after 700-800 years of enduring age. This is a small Chinese Blanc de Chine libation cup, incised character mark at base, carved and molded with flowering prunus and animals; 2 _" high, 4" wide.
Chinese Qing dynasty painting on paper of a Confucian worthy seated on a chair in a black robe covered with dragons and animals. He holds a green tablet containing his achievements. A calligraphic inscription describing his accomplishments is at the upper left. Newly framed with Plexiglas to facilitate shipping. There is typical wear for a painting of this age with old restorations and damage evident. The painting is mounted to board so no creases or buckling are visible...

Large table top scholar's huanghuali chest with all it's original hardware. This is an early Ming piece as the huanghuali wood is quite thick. In later Ming pieces the wood was reduced in thickness as the huanghuali became scarcer. The hardware is typical early Ming. It is 100% original except for the inner tray that was probably added later. Size: L. 41.5cm. W. 24.6cm. H. 19.3cm.
Condition: Normal ageing.

A small (under 2 inches diameter) antique Chinese blue and white porcelain covered cosmetic or seal paste box. Rabbit decoration in cobalt on white slip centered on the cover. An otherwise translucent glaze with faint celadon pooling over the top and bottom with ribbed sides suggesting petals of a lotus blossom. Probably late Ming or transitional. There is one small chip outside of the rim of the cover. A slightly larger chip inside and interrupting the rim...

By purplish black tint, the rare wood piece was preserved very good without any defects and free of any restoration.
It was well carved in beautiful round shape with inverted mouth rim by decent proportion.
Date: Late Qing periods, late 19th century.

Uniquely and rarely-seen, it was decorated inside the bowl with splashed white mottles.
Obvious incursions had happened to the glaze resulting in the earthen and foggy look.
That includes the bursting holes of the glaze bubbles.
Wiry crackles can be observed too.
The darken body clay revealed was in enduring old look and was covering with grayish oxidation...

This Suanzhi wood stand was in strong and firm structure while enduring old patina was preserved well on the surface.
By an adequate size, it was used being put on the table for displaying bronze censer or other curiosities.
A very minute crack line was on the surface board. It didn't penetrate the board and was unnoticiable.
