A beautiful Suiseki mounted on rich red carved wood base enclosed in a custom made kiri-wood display box. There is a sublime balance between the ragged peaks and deep clefts in the stone, and excellent example of the Renzan (Range) type of stone. The stone is 37 x 10 x 12 cm (15 x 4 x 5 inches) and is in excellent condition. There is one very small nick in the wooden base (1/8th of an inch or 3 mm in size). Together the stone and box weight 3.5 kilograms (roughly 8 pounds)...

Elegant shaped of grayish white ewer, decorated with two handles attaches to the shoulder. Condition is near perfect except very tiny flake chip to the tip of the spout, no crack and free from restoration. Southern Song dynasty Xichun ware, Guandong province. High: 18.5cm.

A Qingbai stoneware double gourd shape wine ewer with Qilong handle in very good condition, except a tiny flake to the tip of spout, otherwise is perfect without any restoration. Yuan dynasty 13th/14th century. High: 12.3cm.

A thinly potted and fine quality celadon bowl decorated carved incised of a duck in the center and surrounded by leaf scrolls to cavetto, covered overall with slight yellowish green which typically of Yaozhou wares. Northern Song dynasty Yaozhou ware in excellent condition, even no any recorded about Yaozhou wares found in Indonesia, but it's second examples recovered from Borneo near the river area in Banjarmasin Indonesia. The bowl is in nice form easy to hold for drinking tea.

Chinese Qing dynasty compressed globular form porcelain brush washer covered overall in a rich flambé glaze with a jun-like quality. The base is has an applied bronze wash and the foot rim is unglazed. The edge of the rim is bordered with a thin, geyao type crackled white glaze. Chinese Qing dynasty Qianlong period Dehua porcelain blanc-de-chine Guanyin dressed in a long flowing robe and adorned with a beaded necklace. The figure is seated upon a recumbent "hou" (Buddhist lion-like creature) and she holds a ruyi scepter. Her elegant face has downcast eyes. A faintly visible impressed gourd form seal mark is on the back of her robe. A custom wood stand is included. The glaze is a warm, creamy, glossy ivory tone. 18th century or earlier...

A massive tiger defensively nudges the female deity on this amazing 19th century silk Fukusa. Hand-painted and composed from patchwork patterns of lavish antique brocades and featuring glass eyes and metal teeth and claws sewn into the fabric of the creature. The piece is backed with red rinzu silk patterned with cranes and plum blossoms. It is 23-1/2 x 25-1/2 inches (59 x 64 cm) and is in fine condition. It comes wrapped around a pillow in a large kiri-wood box.

Ryugu-jo Castle is depicted in gold couched thread on the blue silk field of this superb Fukusa gift cloth dating from the turn of the 19th century. Frothing white waves surround the mythical palace, and the four corners of the cloth are secured by long-tailed minogame turtles, befitting the scene. It measures 25 x 32 inches (64 x 82 cm) and is in excellent condition but for some wear on one side of the red silk-crepe backing (see close-up photo)...
