A rare Straits Chinese fan case applied with tiny faceted rocaille glass beads on a green respectively yellow velvet ground, depicting auspicious symbols. This rare Herend tea service is for twelve, an unusually large service, with a teapot that is also a large size (12 inches from spout to handle, and 7" high). The pattern is Petit Bouquet de Rose, and is decorated in all green, which is rare, as the roses generally are pink or yellow. A rare okimono from the Kairakuen Kiln of the Tokugawa branch family dating from the early to mid 19th century. The box label attributes these to Eiraku (presumably Hozen, who was tasked with helping to further the ceramic production of the kiln). Large vintage sterling silver handmade repousse pin designed and signed (c.1940) by Los Castillo. Measures 4 inches X 1 1/4 inch. This very attractive porcelain vase was made during the Kangxi reign (1662 - 1722) of the Qing Dynasty. The surface is profusely decorated in underglaze blue of good colour, the decoration comprising four large panels containing various trees, blossoms and pierced rockwork, as well as smaller panels containing peony and chrysanthemum blossoms, together with geometric patterns...
