Outstandingly wearable antique garnet earrings. Circa 1900. The metal tests positive for 9KT gold with jeweler's acid. The shepherd's hook backs are probably replacements and they test positive for 14KT gold. The large oval stones are 7 mm by 5 mm and the round stones are 5 mm in diameter. The tiny stones are 1 - 2 mm in diameter. Great size -- 2 1/4 inches long and 5/8 inch wide. They weigh 11 grams. Excellent condition...

A rare and early sterling and azur-malachite bracelet by Sigi Pineda. The impeccable fusing of stone with silver is much like the work of Enrique Ledesma. The bracelet is hinged and the opening is on the side of the wrist. Measuring 7" around in the inside, it is 1 1/4" wide at the widest point. All original, fine condition and signed as shown. Possibly custom made and one of a kind.

Description: A wood figure of a seating official was finely carved from one piece of camphor wood. Making use of the core of the wood, the wood circular growth rings were obviously revealed on the belly of the figure and were intriguingly as the grains of the wearing drapery. Measuring 5.75 inches in length, this circa 1920s French clay pipe features an exquisite rendering of a Black Man's head. Details are quite finely executed making this a wonderful display piece!

The pipe remains in wonderful condition. It appears to have had some very limited use based upon the slightly darkened condition of the interior bowl.

The pipe is French made and bears the following on either side of the pipe stem, "Bon Fumeur" (Good Smoking) and "Tabaco" (Tobacco)...

A very finely decorated jar or lantern depicting flowers and insects reserved against a delicately incised pink ground. The base carries the iron red seal mark of the Qianlong Emperor (1736-1795) but this item was probably made early in the 20th Century - durig the Guangxu or early Republic periods.
