Description: A decent wood carving of Guan-yin was from early Qing period. In elegant broad facial characteristics, the Guan-yin sits easily with flouring robe spreading on the floor when benign and holy atmosphere being fully yielded by the excellent craftsmanship. In quite good size, the piece was carved from one block of camphor wood, except being tenoned on the right hand which had been lost. The patina on the wood surface was old when almost all the paint had gone due to long time of age...

A great piece of jewelry representing the style of late 18th and early 19th centuries made in the 1960's. The carved painted reversed crystal is backed by mother of pearl. The frame that is 1 3/8" in diameter is made of 14Kt yellow gold that fully covers the back of the broach and is marked with a makers mark as well as with a stamp of 14Kt on the safety catch. The broach also has a bail in the back that makes it wearable as a pendant.

This old carpenter's detail handsaw was clearly home made by an experienced carpenter craftsman who took pride in his work. It is decorated with delicately carved swirls of clouds and has metal fittings for strength. It has the original blade which was sharpened to cut on both forward and back strokes and is still remarkably sharp. This saw was (according to my carpentry friend) was probably used for fine marquetry work. The saw measures 11" long. It is a rare find and a pleasure to own.

Half-squatting, the skeleton leaned to the skull by his or her right hand when protecting it with the left hand. With fantastic skill, the piece was carved in open work from one solid ivory block. This dramatic ring makes a statement with the heavy 14Kt gold setting that holds a bezel set 11X13 millimeter oval faceted Aquamarine as a center stone accented on either side by 6 etoile set diamonds. The approximate weight of the Aquamarine is 6Ct and the total weight of all diamonds is approximately 0.36Ct. The ring is a size 6 (can be sized) and it weighs is 15.1 grams.

A great example of fine enamel work of the second half of the 19th century is represented in this beautiful oval broach, depicting a mountain lake scene with a castle and a sail boat. The frame is continental (800) silver with Austrian hallmark and maker's mark "KJ". The condition of the enamel is nearly perfect except for some slight hair-line cracks in the front and as well as in the back which is white enamel. The pin measures 1 7/8" in length and 1 1/2" in width.

A rare and extraordinary sterling and lapis Art Nouveau bracelet by Danish designer Evald Nielsen (1879-1958)who opened his workshop in 1907. The lapis stone appears to be bursting out of the flower bud. The detail and craftsmanship is exquisite. Measuring 8" end to end, it is 3/4" wide. Fine original condition and signed as shown. Beautiful in every way.

This is a spectacular sterling and enamel necklace, bracelet and matching screwback earrings set by Margot De Taxco. The colors are beautiful and the design outstanding. The necklace measures 15" end to end and is 7/8" wide at the center section. The bracelet measures 6 1/2" end to end and is 1 1/4" wide. The earrings hang 1 5/8" long. There is no missing enamel and all pieces have the Margot hallmarks and numbers. An absolutely outstanding and important Margot enamel parure.

This unique custom made eternity band is from the 1960's. The band is set with 11 marquise, 24 brilliant cut diamonds and 12 marquise sapphires. The total weight of all diamonds is approximately 4.70 Ct and the sapphires approximate weight is 3.0 Ct. The ring is a size 10 and the width is 1/2".

This is a rare pair of sterling silver candlesticks made by the esteemed Mauser silver manufacturing company of New York, New York between 1887 and 1903. The candlesticks are 8" tall and the base measures 4 1/2" in diameter. The stem is weighted, and the bottom is fully hallmarked. One of the candlesticks was expertly repaired at the bottom of the stem just above the base. There is an Old English letter engraved on top of the base, your guess is as good as mine as to what letter it could be...

It measures 230cm long X 100cm wide for the work including mounting. Otherwise the painting measures 166cm X 85cm.

Antique Syrian carved and inlaid folding chair. This chair is ornately inlaid with mother-of-pearl and intricately carved with an Arabic inscription. The chair folds for ease of transportation. Some pieces of inlay missing and with minor chips. Size: 40 inches ht. x 17.5 inches wide x 19 inches deep.

Shell-form glove holder on chain with ring, slide causes pincers to open or close either grasping or releasing your gloves. A small ring at the end of the chain slips over your pinky finger keeping your gloves handy when not required or can be fastened to a Chatelaine. Not marked; most likely gold plate or filled, some darkening to the chain.

This is a lovely 16.5" long 18Kt yellow gold necklace circa 1920 with sections of one and three seed pearls alternating, all together there are eighteen pearls. The weight of the necklace is 4.8 grams.

Chinese export Canton porcelain platter circa 1840. A large and beautifully hand painted decorated example in excellent condition no chips cracks repairs etc. some minor glaze flaws bubbles on edge. Measuring approx. 19.5 inches by 16 inches.

This is a small Tang dynasty (618-906 A.D) sancai water dropper in the shape of a mystical animal, possibly a foo lion, in a curling up sleeping position. The water hole is created on the back of the animal.

There is no repair or restoration. Minor abrasion, pin hole, bubble burst and degradation.

The measurement of the water dropper: Height 3cm, the Width 5cm and the length is 6.6cm.

This authentic locket from the glamorous Victorian era is made of 14 karat yellow gold. It is decorated by a three dimensional applied design with four seed pearls. The locket is in very good condition with some age wear in the form of minor scratches and dents on the back. The original beveled glass is intact in the original frame. The piece measures 1 1/4 inches long and 7/8" across.

Rare huge polychrome Kangxi charger, decorate with red-yellow-aubergine flower motif, barbed medallion, red and yellow peonies with leaf scroll decorate the rim bordered with multicolor lines and diapers. Description: With incurving rim, a small Jun bowl was shaped elegantly. In two purple splashed strokes, the bowl was added with more charming atmosphere. Being glazed over all inside and outside of the surface, the bowl’s foot ring was left unglazed in a firm and regular shape. This elegant pair of 18Kt yellow gold leaf shaped earrings are accented by prong set rubies in the center. The hallmarks are 18Kt and Italy as well as a makers mark that looks like a stylized "H". Description: A Temmoko bowl from Jianyang kiln of Song Dynasty was excavated rarely with metal wrappings around the mouth rim. Fragile of the wrappings, the bowl was in beautiful hare’s-fur glaze. The bowl was molded in regular shape and was typical in the size of general Jianyang bowls.
