A pair of Qingbai porcelain ducks or water fowls was nicely mold.
By luting from two halves in the middle, the fowls were depicted vividly in details as well as in postures.
Iron brownish slip was decorated to the eyes and the beaks.
Due to age, icy crackles were rendered in the glaze when burial earth was amid within.
The pairs were sat on square platforms from where marks of cloth paddings were observed at the bottom...

A pair of Jizhou tiger toys were excavated in original condition.
It is very hard to find genuine Jizhou wares with tortoisshell glaze.
It was unique too to find them in pairs even though they're dolls.
And most importantly they were in obvious condition for authentication.
The buried deposits were firmly left here and there on the surface.
And the glaze were partially crackled due to age.
The body clay were light brownish with soft matrix quality...

Description: A rare and lovely Yaozhou russet-glazed incense burner was in simple form. Wide-mouthed and with high-set shoulders when the neck is narrowed and the lip is rolled, the jarlet was applied with persimmon glaze inside and out of the surface. The bottom was flat and was concaved to a round circle. The unglazed base had turned to a buff skin during firing, and in a firm quality which were all the characteristics for a Yaozhou ware.
