Description:
A pair of Jianyang hare-furs tea bowls was well mold in fine shape.
In evert mouth rim, the bowls were stand by circular foot rings.
Characteristic of smoothened surface was found at the foot ring where the body clay was revealed. It was caused due to age.
Incursions were also found on the mouth rim.
They were in lovely sizes- very hard to find on the market, but ideally for tea ceremony.
Date: Southern Song dynasty, 1127-1279...

A Chisolm Model C1 flip down toaster from the 1930s. This scarce and unusual chrome plated and wood two sided flip down electric toaster is by W.C. Chisholm Mfg. Co. of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This toaster has wooden handles and painted wooden sides on the base; it also has heavy springs keeping the doors shut. The heat wire wrapped mica plates are intact as is the cloth-wrapped original cord. It has a detachable top with a wood handle (possibly for keeping toast warm)...
Handmade sterling silver cuff bracelet designed and hallmarked (c.1950)by Taxco, Mexico silver artist Antonio Pineda. Warrior figures are hand carved into the sterling silver giving the design a shadow box effect. Front center measures 2 1/3 inches from top to bottom tapering at the back. Inside circumference is 5 1/2" with a 1 1/4" opening. Very heavy at 123 grams, 4.4 oz. Fully hallmarked. In beautiful vintage condition with expected surface wear. No dents or dings...

I would never have thought that the necklace presented here was not made in the 1930s or 1940s - design, construction, even the way it is hallmarked point in that direction. Yet it is later as indicated by the maker's registration code - I think it must have been made around 1980. Heavy clusters of bead and tube dangles adorn the central part of the necklace creating an impressive sense of abundance and luxury...

Impressive Silver Art Nouveau Dress Cane-Ca. 1910-Long silver handle topped by a tapering loop ending with a flower, ebony shaft and a metal ferule. The upswept petals of the flower show some traces of gilding and speak for a cyclamen, and, the floral twig with buds applied on the vertical stem hints in that direction as well. German hallmarks.
