Obviously based on Matilde Poulat's "moth" design, an early Deco silver and turquoise ring that could hail from Mexico City yet it's difficult to say since it's unmarked...

Early Sigi Pineda combination pin/pendant necklace from the first years of his independent career, when his taller was still called "Plateros". Nested in a biomorphic concave "shell", the minimalist figure of a man playing a green stone drum (at least to my eyes) hangs from a tube link chain. The work has Sigi's abstract design signature and exudes a raw animism that catches the eye and the imagination...

With a carved and combed decoration of two fish in the waves, symbol of abundance. Diameter 17,7 cm, H. 5 cm. Very good condition with light age wear inside the bowl. Song dynasty (960-1279).

Undoubtedly inspired by Margot de Taxco's Koi Fish line, a pair of early Antonio Reina repousse earrings showing playful fish among stylized silver waves. I can't get over the detail in this set - just note the depth of the repoussage, the detail in the scales and the hand-hammering in the waves themselves to render them three-dimensional. The earrings are 1 5/8" long by 15/16" wide and weigh 8.4 grams (for the set)...

Early Chamberlains Worcester porcelain teapot and stand. Circa 1800. An attractive example of a Worcester teapot with vertical ribbed design and hand painted with bands of gilt foliage and sepia colored scrolling feathers. The lid has a pagoda finial and is marked on its underside in gold script "Chamberlains Worcester, Worcester N.34." Condition is excellent with no chips or repairs. Measuring a diminutive 4.50 inches wide x 2.25 inches long x 1.5 inches high, this very early, metal, circa 1900, Diamond Match Co. box is very rarely found on today's market.

The box is in very good condition for its 100+ years of age with teeny tiny chips to the surface as noted in photos.

Measuring 10.25 inches high from hat to base bottom, this colorful, 1910 patent date, tin lithographed, wind-up toy featuring a dapper Black Gent dancing a jig is quite visually appealing!!

In very nice condition with minor scratches to paint here and there as seen in photos, this wind-up toy works, but can be a little fussy. Given its 100+ years of age, a bit of fussiness in the mechanism is not atypical or unexpected...

A set of Nesting Shino Sake Cups with Dice. They are stamped on the base, and come in three sizes, the accompanying dice imprinted with the various sizes on each side, so a roll of the dice decides your fate in the drinking game. Very unusual and in excellent condition, they are (stacked) 2 x 2 x 1-1/4 inches (5 x 5 x 3 cm).

This is an old Mexico City early repousse cuff. I love the romantic shape and the expert carving on this piece. The flowers are very deep and the dimension is outstanding. The front face is a large 2in. tall. The back is tapered to a not so small 1.25 inches. The repousse is open backed and also bares no hallmarks which is indicative of the earliest Mexico City pieces. The condition is superb with no cracks or dents.

Sanborns heavy, deeply repoussaged and expertly carved bracelet is a mammoth 2.5in. tall. The weight is 73 grams heavy. This is another cuff in fabulous condition with no issues what so ever. I am featuring 3 fine open backed repousse cuffs in tonight's listings as the biggest ones are getting hard to get. Grab one while they are still around.

Stunning sterling and amethyst clip earrings by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs. They measure 1 1/4" wide and 1 1/4" long and are in fine original condition. Signed as shown. Beautiful stones and craftsmanship.

William Spratling is famous for his tulip design and this brooch is an excellent example of his work. The tulip has no cracks or damage and is properly hallmarked as shown. The length is 2.25in. long and 1in. at it's widest. The piece has great depth and dimension and weighs 22 grams.

Today we have a rare William Spratling tulip necklace that is approximately 17in. long. The drop is 2 in. tall and the amethyst tulips are a lilac in color and with striations of crystals inside the well cut stones. The neck chain is 4 strands of tube beads which lead to the turtle clasp that hooks off and on to get in and out of the necklace. The condition is excellent with no dents or damage and this treasure has been professionally re-strung as 70 years of age had broken the strands...

This ancient conch shell bead from the Pyu period and dates back to around the first century. It represents the emblem of the voice of Buddha preaching the laws of his doctrine, and occurs as one of the auspicious signs on the "Footprint of Buddha". Size: L. 2.2cm. Condition: No repairs. In the enlarged photos you will see the natural faults of the stone but is not very noticeable with the naked eye.

An elegant rendition of the famous Rimpa Crane standing alongside a swirling river of silver created by Shoun for the Shobido Art Studio enclosed in the original wooden box. Description:
A white-glazed Dingyao censer was in decent form.
With two erected loops, the censer was well decorated on the surface with carved floral pattern.
For verification, the body clay was in dense-feel quality which was the very characteristic for Dingyao wares.
The greasy-feel glaze on the surface was in old look by the incursions, especially along the carving lines of the motifs.

This is an unmarked older Mexican silver repousse treasure. The length is 7.5in. long and 1 7/8th's of an inch tall. Each link is curved to lay beautifully on the arm. The quality rivals the Los Castillo design and weighs 74 grams heavy.

Scarce Irish silver bowl by silversmith Matthew West, Dublin, c.1780, sterling silver. A small bowl adorned with swirling bands of punch work decoration and supported on three hoof feet. American figural cow weathervane, probably Cushing and White, Waltham, Massachusetts. Circa 1880-1890. Size: 26.5 inches length x 16 inches height.
