This is one of our very favorite lavaliers! It is quintessential Art Nouveau. It depicts a flower with an amethyst at its center, with the classic whiplash motif. The central amethyst weighs approximately 1/2 carat, and it’s accented by 28 seed pearls. Feng Shui practitioners believe amethysts aid in purification, and give access to a higher plane of energy. It tests as 14k, and the gold is that lovely subtle old gold color. It weighs 3.3g and measures 1” x 1” at the widest points...

An exquisite Art Deco platinum pendant in the form of a rose set with old mine cut, old European cut, single cut and pear cut diamonds. The design is delicately worked in a sort of stencil effect, the negative spaces between diamond-set areas appearing as the veins of leaves or the deeper recesses of the rose blossom. The center of the rose is set with a .96-ct pear shaped diamond, H/VVS2. The smaller diamonds are well-matched in the H range SI clarity...

Absolutely stunning on with a length of 7 inches and a weight of a solid 68 grams. Hallmark correctly shown for Antonio Pineda. The presence is sleek at just under 1 inch. Each moonstone is framed with two caviar balls. The moonstones glow a beautiful blue and there is no damage or repairs. There is some patina but not heavy leaving to buyer to decide for their own personal taste. Clasp is tight and closes with a click. An excellent example from the Mexican Silver Renaissance.

I am thrilled to have stumbled upon this amazing, quintessentially Deco and quite rare Mexican silver and stone ring! Though this piece is not signed for maker, the design is a known Fred Davis creation and as I have recently noted in one of my descriptions, Davis was never as adamant as Spratling was in hallmarking all jewelry coming out of his workshop. So out there, there are many Davis creations that are simply not marked fully and I believe this beauty might easily be one of them...

Fabulous very wearable and versatile long sautoir necklace of very large turquoise poured glass beads and baroque glass based pearls, all wired with dark goldtone metal. Circa 1950 or 1960 or possibly earlier; the clasp is an early spring ring without the thumb tab. Probably French. 44 inches long and 1/2 inch wide at turquoise beads. Excellent condition. A handsome pair of reversible heavy 18K yellow gold flip-up cufflinks. One side of each end is finished smooth, while the reverse side is engraved in a zigzag pattern. The flip-up style was popularized by Cartier in the 1930s and continued to be popular in France through the mid-century. Each cufflink is fully hallmarked with the “tete d’aigle” stamp for 18K gold and with an unidentified maker’s mark.

A superb pair of late Victorian or Edwardian 14K yellow gold double-sided cufflinks, the faces set with reverse-carved and painted Essex crystals depicting a cockfight. Cufflinks depicting a cockfight are quite rare. The workmanship in this pair is outstanding. The carving is deep and the painting is expertly done. This Coro brooch is very talented. It can be worn as seen, or it can be removed from a bracket on the back and worn as two clips. Its flowers tremble (ok, wiggle) when the brooch moves. It is enameled and has lovely pave and channeled rhinestones. Each clip is marked Coro Duette. 3" by 1 5/8". Very chunky.

These sterling silver earrings have a nice swirly design with colorful, inlaid abalone. They are screwbacks and measure 1 1/8" x 1/2" (at its widest). Each is marked MEXICO SILVER.

Gerardo Lopez was and is known to have made these gorgeous pectoral necklaces that really say it all about the fashion of Mexican silver in the Spratling era. This example is correctly hallmarked as shown and has no damage of any kind. The patina is natural and untouched for as long as I have owned it for several years.
