Being offered is an exceedingly rare circa 1935 sterling silver arm bracelet by Fred Davis of Taxco, Mexico. A very early piece by one of the pioneers of the premiere Taxco Silver ateliers. Handwrought panels that wrap from the wrist to the arm using a 7 clasps mechanism. Dimensions: bracelet starts at 6 1/4 inches and goes up the arm to 8 1/4 inches. Marked as illustrated. In excellent condition. Excellent weight. Truly an amazing bracelet!

The design of this sterling silver link bracelet has a substantial look and feel. It is composed of sturdy cast openwork oval panels with stylized scrolls and swirls reminiscent of mid-20th century Nordic styles. It has a secure hidden hook closure that bears the marks for Danecraft and sterling. The bracelet measures 7 ¼ inches long by a little over ¾ inch wide. Weight: 38.6 grams

A superb 19th century French figural fob seal worked in silver and 18K gold. The gorgeously detailed wolf's head is worked in silver with gold accents such as the collar and the long tongue that hangs from one side of the very toothy jaws. The eyes are set with small rubies. The carnelian seal has never been engraved. Tested and guaranteed silver and 18K.

Five large cabochons with pink banding are set in sterling silver frames that are deeply oxidized and embossed with a ridged design. They are linked by oblong rings that are similarly decorated. The highly polished stones are securely prong set and show no scratches or other signs of wear; they may be rhodochrosites, which were popular in the 1950s. A three dimensional 916 silver brooch in an Arts and Crafts design by Holger Lindstrom, (1937-1968), Helsinki Finland. Has a concave oxidized center and four pointed onyx bezel set cabochons. There are textured recessed areas around each stone for an interesting contrast.

This hand crafted brooch measures 1 5/8" in diameter and about 3/8" high.

Marked with HGL for the maker, 916H for the silver content, boat for Helsinki and L7 for 1964...

Based on an original, almost impossible to find Margot de Taxco design, the repousse "swans-in-a-row" bracelet I am presenting here is wrought in fine, .980 silver and is a little masterpiece. I think suggesting that "A.E.M", whose initials can be found on it, was a maestro who worked for the Los Castillo and/or Margot de Taxco is not a far-fetched hypothesis. Not only is this piece very close to Margot's creation, it is also extremely well made, very sculptural and has crisp, rich detail to it...

A highly decorative piece in gilded sterling silver designed with a graceful movement, this starfish pin has a rich, textured look. It features yellow-green guilloche enamel with raised graduated disks running down each arm enameled in white. The entire piece is jag edged, and has a convex shape. This interesting bracelet has a rough look to it, with irregular edges and iridescent, highly oxidized surface. The band is pierced as a belt, and is hammered into a strong but flexible construction. The hook clasp is secure and shows no signs of stress. The bangle shows very few signs of wear; it is unsigned and marked as sterling. It measures just under ½ inch wide; inner circumference is 7 inches. The bracelet opens about 1 inch to accommodate the wrist. Weight: 19.3 grams

This great necklace is circa 1970. It is composed of sterling silver and vibrant, turquoise mosaic inlay-style. It measures 17 3/4" long and consists of 17 links that measure 7/8" x 1/2". Each link is slightly convex. It is marked TAXCO MEXICO 925 in a circle, with LVR in the middle and marked TU-08 below. It has a V-Spring and Box Clasp. It has good heft, weighing 70 grams / 2.5 ounces and it is in very good condition.

A seamless marriage of sterling silver and golden sheen obsidian celebrate Enrique Ledesma's creative genius in this set of modernist Mexican earrings. Much published and avidly sought after, the design can be found with various semi-precious and hard stones or, as in our case, housing polished, glistening pieces of volcanic glass. And if you are not so keen on screw-back findings, you are in luck with these as they are actually clip-ons...

One of the better known "less celebrated" maestros of Mexico's 20th c. Silver Renaissance, AEM (or, as I like to refer to him, AE Heart because of the heart-shaped M that hugs the signature's other two initials) lived and worked in Mexico City. Of good weight and exhibiting very good craftsmanship, AEM's jewelry often emulate pieces by his more famous contemporaries but he created many original designs himself as well...

This lovely pin is composed of lacy, intricate sterling filigree work surrounding an oval-shaped piece of carnelian. One delicate filigree band is gilded and the other is highly oxidized for contrast. There is a gilded rollover clasp of good quality, probably added later to replace a C-clasp but contemporary to the period of 1950s-1960s. The stone shows no wear or scratching. The back exhibits the words “Italy” and “sterling.” The pin measures 1 ¾ inches long by 1 ½ inches wide.

These cuff links measure 3/4" x 3/4" x 1/8". They are sterling silver with a geo wooden inlay. One of the cuff links is marked BETO 925 and TAXCO HECHO EN MEXICO. They have a good heft and are in excellent condition (better than photos).

Rare kinetic showstopper designed by Bent Gabrielsen while he worked for iconic Danish silversmith Hans Hansen. In textured sterling silver with a dangling disc that has a gold wash. The disc has a pitted texture which contrasts beautifully against the vertical pattern of the body of the pendant. This is a large, bold piece, measuring 3.25". Excellent condition. This is a wonderful prayer book, sterling silver bracelet charm. The front of the book has a cross. The charm opens to reveal The Lord's Prayer. These sterling silver, screwback earrings are so cool. They are circa 1950's. They measure 1" x 3/8" x 1/4" deep. They feature a mod shape with a concave, oxidized background, with prong set, cultured pearls. One is marked STERLING J.S.C 925 (see pictures). I am still trying to figure out the silversmith's mark. This interesting pin exhibits a streamlined design and was made by the Rytosztuka collective of Krakow, Poland. It features a vivid, prong-set teal green and white marbled glass cabochon, applied to a thin squared rod. The original rollover clasp is original and secure. The back shows the Polish registry mark for Krakow, 1963-1986 and .800 silver, as well as the RYT mark for the maker and a C7, possibly a mark that is particular to this workshop. Bold and striking long sterling earrings designed by Karl Gustav Hansen for Hans Hansen of Denmark. These earrings are from the "Future" line of jewelry manufactured by Hans Hansen between 1932 and 1948. They hang 2 5/8" long, are 3/4" wide at the bottoms and are screw backs. The backs could easily be changed to posts for pierced ears.Weighing 11 grams total, they are in fine original condition and signed as shown. A fabulous Modernist design that look great on the ear.

These Mexican silver dimensional floral earrings show great detail of the open flower. The size is 1.25 inches by 1 inch. Hallmarked as shown by DS and weighing 8 grams. These look like a perfect match to the clamper also listed on my site of the same flower. The presence of the earring on is a beautiful reflection. Condition is perfect.

Being offered is a rare and fine circa 1963 sterling silver brooch by Sigfrido ‘SIGI’ Pineda of Taxco, Mexico. Modern boomerang design with an oxidized background; and non faceted amethyst stone. Sigi, cousin of Los Castillo founder, Antonio Castillo, spent years working with Los Castillo, Salvador Teran, Felipe Martinez, and Margot de Taxco before opening his own shop in 1952.
