A small oil on canvas painting, 9 1/2" b y 12" (13" by 15" in wood frame), featuring an arid landscape with blossoming spring tree in the middle foreground and distant houses scattered over the middle distance, signed at lower left and dated there 2002. An Armenian speaker identifies the signature as "S Baboumian" (or, Babumyan, or other variation possible). This contemporary work shows a skilled hand and is in excellent fresh condition...

CEDRO, featuring a mountain lake surrounded by trees, distant snow-capped mountains, several small figures in boats completing the scene. Measurements are 22 1/2" by 35" (27" by 40" framed). The artist, A. CEDRO, is a vague figure known to have had a Russian background. He painted in Southern Oregon and extreme Northern California at the end of the 19th century...

Old oil on canvas laid on board landscape painting of a steep-sided canyon, framed by tall foreground trees, the work signed at very bottom left center (hidden by frame) "H. Baumgartner". Measurements are 16" by 12" and 18 1/2" by 14 1/2" in old wood framing. I would guess the age as circa 1930's or 1940's. While there are German artists that would correspond to this name, their work is unlike this piece...

An excellently painted miniature portrait of a gentleman, rendered by Thomas Richmond in watercolor on organic wafer. The sitter, with powdered hair, is attired in a black coat, matching waistcoat, and a frilled white shirt and stock.

Presented in a gilt metal frame, with printed interior scene on the reverse. The condition is excellent, with strong colors and no issues. Any white specks in the photo are dust motes...

An old watercolor painting titled at lower left "Atitlan Guatemala", signed at lower right by artist "M. Moody". This may be a listed watercolor artist by the name of Marion Moody but that cannot be confirmed. The work is well handled, the old architecture and five foreground figures nicely painted. Lake Atitlan is a famous scenic lake in central Guatemala, ringed by volcanic peaks and popular with tourists to this day. The painting measures 9 3/4" by 13" (13" by 17" framed).

A Nude Flobrush Painting by noted American modern painter, Milton Avery (1885-1965). This has the label for The Alpha Gallery in Boston and the stamp for the Guido Frame Studio in Boston. Measures about 14" by 17", overall frame about 21 1/2" by 24 3/4".
