The painting should be saved for posterity, but for that to happen, it will require relining, cleaning and inpainting by a professional restorer. If you are a restorer yourself, this would be an ideal acquisition.

For the last four years, I have researched every aspect of this self-portrait to confirm its artist identity!! Today, I can confirm the artist of this self-portrait, it is ROY FOX LICHTENSTEIN!!
