Eby left a skim of unwiped ink on the plate to create tone in the water. A fine impression, nicely framed with archival materials.

An old etching of Notre Dame cathedral in central Paris, viewed from the south bank of the Seine river, titled at bottom "Pont de l'Archeveche Paris", artist name K.
