Champenois in Paris for the popular series "L'Estampe Moderne". The image is a dreamy one, with undertones of male and female sexuality. Note the different bluish colors and the white highlights...

Original 19th century lithograph "A Scene in Old Ireland", by Currier and Ives, the famous American printmakers. This is a true antique hand-colored lithograph and not a later restrike. The work is framed in a late 19th century wood frame with gold inner fillet. Wood backing with rotary saw marks indicates it was framed after the 1870's. Measurements are 12" by 15 3/4" as framed (margins are ample but might have been trimmed a little in early days)...

Fumio Tamura was born in the Nagano prefecture, and he graduated from Tokyo Art College in 1968, so this 1969 litho dates from early in his career...

A highly decorative original pochoir print of flowers in a vase, within a blue circle, singed in the print by the noted French artist and fashion illustrator GEORGES LEPAPE (1887-1971).
