Very well crafted patinated bronze figure. Depicting a man tending the field, signed H. Bouchard 1901. Raised on a 1.25" marble base, figure height is 7.5 inches with length of 12 inches, no condition issues noted.

A fine cold-painted Vienna bronze eagle of the highest quality and unusually large size. The painted decoration is wonderfully complex and detailed. The bronze is marked "Austria" under the tail feathers. We have seen this exact bronze with Franz Xavier Bergmann marks.

A heavy bronze mid-century sculpture on a wood base, signed (incised) J. The superbly modeled alligator head jaw moves on its hinged mouth when its lever is pushed. The head is emerging from from marshy grasses waiting to catch its prey. The alligator is mounted on ebonized oval support which is held by a gilt bronze rococo plinth.

An interesting and inventive sculpture of a performing elephant balancing upon a ball whilst supporting an acrobat with his trunk. The sculpture is solid bronze and cast in the lost wax technique, cire perdue. This method is able to faithfully reproduce all of the quirky textures that the artist has chosen. The sculpture is mounted on a white marble base and is, as far as I can see, unsigned.

Rare bronze shishi statue by renaissance artist/potter, Tsukigata Nahiko. This solid and impressive bronze is well sculpted with wonderful details and prominently signed on the rear depicting the "god of wealth or household", Daikoku with his mallet and bag of plenty, one of the Seven Lucky Gods but cleverly represented by a shishi, lion dog which Tsukigata used in a number of his bronze sculpture. Stunning antique European bronze sculpture dates back to the late 19th century. It depicts a young boy standing confidently with both hands casually tucked into his pockets while wearing a charming cap. This statue's level of detail is exceptional, as it has been cast and entirely hand-chiseled with fine details.

On the back of the base is an illegible artist's signature with the date 89 (1889) and a stamp of the foundry's mark under the base.
