Antique 19th century American frontiers powder horn, made of hollowed–out horn of Bison/Buffalo with black painted oval wood base secured with small domed metal pins, fitted on the center with an iron loop for suspension. The mouth is with its timber stopper. 

CONDITION: Overall in fine condition with smooth toned grey-black surfaces, retains an untouched lovely aged patina. The suspension cord was a later replacement...

Sterling silver thimble molded with Christmas bells and holly. Made in the 1890s by Webster Co, Mass.Webster Co started in 1894 and was later to become part of Reed & Barton. Marked inside with the Webster logotype, Sterling and 9 for the size. This model is reproduced in the standard work on American silver thimbles. Condition: fine.

Antique, Japanese large sword guard Tsuba for samurai sword Katana Signed Nobuie (Nobu Iye)

DETAILS: A well hand forged very masculine tsuba made of thick and heavy large iron “Kaku Gata” plate with unregular raised rim (Mimi) hammered with wavy outline. Surface pierced with Kozuka and Kogai hitsu-ana Kogai and plugged with blackened copper pegs.

Antique 16th century Central European large sturdy very well hand forged steel battle axe head with very sharp, oblique cutting edge, large oval eye, and flat rectangular poll. Struck on one side with a maker's mark and adorned with engraved pattern and stamped with circular eyes.

CONDITION: In its original condition, age and usage are showing, slightly pitted.

This extremely rare cross stitch sampler of a young black boy with hands placed on his hips is dated to at least circa 1890, although it is quite likely an earlier example of 19th century needlework making it highly scarce and sought after.

Completed in silk thread on early, thick, pressed paper canvas, the diminutive, 1 5/8 x 2 3/4 inch piece of needlework remains stitched onto the original, 1 ¾ x 8 inch long, deep red satin banding...

Original movie poster, 1963, for the film "The Stripper", starring then-young Joanne Woodward, and Robert Webber, Louis Nye, and Gypsy Rose Lee. The poster measures 39 1/2" by 26" (45" by 32" framed, behind easy-ship Plexi). There is hand-numbering at bottom right, "63/123", and I do not know what to make of that since this would been unlikely to have been printed in such a low edition...

Offered is a very colorful group of 5, circa 1970s, golf tee matchbook-style packets which served as novelty advertisement giveaways for family-owned ALBERT BROS., INC., Waterbury, CT, a 119 year old scrap metal recycling company.

Each identical packet is designed in the form of a large matchbook and contains 6 painted wooden golf tees and one plastic ball marker.

Each decorative pack measures about 4 inches long x 2.5 inches wide and ALL are in unused condition...
