Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Made in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the 8 1/4 inch plate in the crystal satin finish. Excellent condition, I have 4 available. A French Art Deco cocktail pick set in the form of a chrome lyre with red bakelite-topped cocktail picks forming the instrument’s strings. The whole is set on a mahogany base. Sets such as this were used on bar and café counters to serve cocktail garnishes, canapés or even escargot.

Peony Fan Painting by Jeon Yeong Suk aka Yeo Cheong (1960 - ). The peony is an ancient symbol of prosperity. 21 x 6.5 inches, 53.5 x 16.5 cm. This, along with our Stock Numbers 1318 and 1319, is part of a set of three fan flower paintings by Jeon Yeong Suk.
Offered is this pair of superb blue pulled-feather stems, made by Durand (Vineland Glass) around 1930. The taller wine glass is 4 1/2 inches tall, while the shorter one is 3 inches tall. Both are in excellent condition and have polished pontils. Though unsigned, they are guaranteed to have been made by Durand (refer to pages 91 and 97 of Meschi's book for similar-shaped stems - shown in last two pictures here for your convenience).

Swanhalok Green crackle Glazed Jarlet with painted decoration and a spout top. The body well potted nice glaze and a band and floral decoration. The entire jar is filled with burial debris. Size 2" by 2"
A Chinese porcelain teabowl and saucer painted in famille verte enamels with radiating cartouche panels of foliage. The cup decorated on the inside with sprigs of flowers, as well as the underside of the saucer. Both have seal marks in under-glaze blue to the base. Made for the export market.

Two(2) pieces Chinese carved Jade Hardstone Plaques, 7 1/8" long, 1 1/8" high in the center, 3/4" high in the ends, 1/8" thick, there are some small rough spots on the edges. These pieces are made for some art object but never used them.

This is a superior example of the celebrated (Milan Triennale 1951) Jäkälä (Lichen/Sormivaarsi (Finger) vase 3515. Produced 1950-1964. On the underside is etched Tapio Wirkkala 3515. It measures 8 1/2" (21.5cm). Mint condition.

A Hong Mu Suanzhi Abacus (suanpan), RuYi brand, the brass plate shows an address and telephone number in Hong Kong. Not certain of where it is made. First half of the 20C as the telephone number is only 5 digits.

This is a very nice sword walking stick that features two lions heads as the handle. Carved in ivory, this stick measures 40 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 1 3/4". The handle itself measures 5 3/4" x 2 1/2" x 1 3/4". The collar is 1", the ferrule is 1 1/2" and the length of the blade of the sword is 25". Quite a weapon!
Galle bud vase in amethyst over yellow base glass with a very unusual floral design. The leaves below the stems of the flowers are engraved with fine lines to indicate veining in the leaves. The Galle signature on the vase is engraved such as in signature 58 on page 143 of Blount’s “French Cameo Glass.” The vase is undamaged and measures 8 5/8 inches tall and 2 inches in diameter.
Japanese Kimekomi hina ningyo (dolls), Dairi bina, emperor and empress doll. Kimekomi dolls were originally carved out of willow trees growing on the riverbank of the Kamo River in Kyoto. They were made using the leftover material from Kamo Shrine. Today, the dolls are made out of paulownia sawdust mixed with glue. This method was developed by Kanabayashi Mataro (1897-1984). Each section is divided by grooves and each block is covered with brocades...
A very old ghurra with super fine design achievement, Note a standing protector ( H 3.5 cm) on each side of the house on top of the ghurra, the protectors are barely visible as they are deeply encrusted and worn out, exceptional signs of a great use , at least from early 20th, H 24 cm, wide 6 cm, thick 4 cm.
This Hazara purse from Bamiyan utilizes satin stitch and brick stitch in a combination of silk and cotton thread to achieve a simplicity in design, depicting diamond motifs and hooked diamond patterns, a trademark of Hazara embroidery. The purse measures 12 x 28 cm and is in excellent condition. The interior features three pockets and is partially lined with a dark blue printed silk fabric. Colored beads embellish the fringes of the purse. Estimated age: mid to late 20th century.
Very beautiful Kinsai Iroe Shino ware tea bowl, signed and inclosed in its original wooden box. It was made about 60 years ago and it is decorated with a shiny gold leaf design and images of grass and plum trees.
The bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. Signature on base.

This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in the 1950s. It is signed by the renowned artist, Karl Tutter. The base is 6 1/2 inches long and the piece is 5 1/2 inches high. The porcelain is well modeled and quite fragile. A naked baby is reaching out to touch a spotted faun. The faun is done in natural colors.

A roll of cotton cloth with Arimatsu shibori whose motif is hemp leaf pattern. The cloth is before steaming and ironing. In excellent condition but the white part, about 60cm from the one end, has a bit yellowish color from long time storage. 1950s to 70s. 30cm x 10m9cm

A very nice Arts & Crafts bronze round tray with verdigris patina by Carl Sorensen. The surface is decorated in uneven concentric rings of darker and lighter green mottled patination, separated by thin bands of polished bronze. The outer edge is finished with a pair of cast handles in a pattern similar to Georg Jensen's "Blossom" design. Little is known about Sorensen other than that he worked in the Philadelphia area around 1900 and his pieces may have been retailed at Tiffany & Co...
