A 4-7/8" tall trumpet-shaped English art pottery vase by Ault. This vase has the stylized mark used by Ault from 1923-37; the colour is a light green with fine lustre hues. Italian tile in the style of Aldo Londi for Bitossi. Relief-moulded and stamped decoration of a horse, the glaze partly bubbly and iridescent. Unmarked, but with "1972" in writing. Length "6 ¼/ 15,5 cm, width "4 ½/ 12,5 cm. Condition: minimal chips to lower rim as seen on photo.

Number 9 in a series of 12 Fornasetti plates commissioned in the 1970’s by Martini & Rossi. Each plate depicts an item in their wine museum in Pessione, in this case the first barrel – Il Primo Tino - used for the fabrication of the famous Martini vermouth. Pessione is a village in northern Italy, not far from Torino. The back of the plate gives a contextual presentation of the plate and has the Fornasetti brush in hand mark. Diameter "9 ¼ / 23.7 cm. Condition: fine.

2 Portuguese Faience Pottery Wall Vase, Wall Pocket, 6 1/4" high, 3 1/2" wide-widest top area, 2 1/4" deep, hand painted floral decoration in front, one(1) flake chip on the bottom about 1" x 1/2" wide on the lower area.

This rare and early example of the superb pottery of Ingrid and Erich Triller (TOBO) measures 9 3/4" tall and is 4 1/5" in diameter. On the underside of the foot is painted Triller Tobo. The incredible glaze is a complex of browns and oranges. Excellent condition. There is a very minor glaze eruption (done in manufacture) on the inside of the upper rim, which does not detract at all from the beauty and importance of this great vase. (See photos).

A Dainty Porcelain Inkwell with Four Different Bird Portrayals on Each Panel and a fifth on the Top. Dimensions; 3.25" x 3.25" x 3" high. Very minor gilt wear but otherwise in excellent condition. Probably French and from the early 1900's.

This porcelain dish was produced in Denmark by Bing and Grondahl around 1950. The inventory number is 1167. It measures 7 1/2 inches long, 6 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches deep. The porcelain is quite substantial. The dish is molded in high relief with an art nouveau inspired design of stylized leaves and flowers. The color pallet is shades of blue, violet and brown. Beautiful lobed Kutani yaki dish in Yoshidaya style, modern. Decoration of camellia in white, aubergine, green, speckled yellow and gilt. The back with a character in gilt, possibly Qiu, meaning Autumn. It is also defined by Graesse in his classical work about pottery and porcelain marks as from the village of Shinomine in Arita. Diameter "6 ¼ / 16 cm, height "1 ¼ / 3 cm. Condition: fine.

Here is a lovely small tray in an exquisite blue and brown glaze by Wilhelm Kage for Gustavsberg, Sweden. It measures 1 1/4" (3cm) high and is 5 1/2" (14cm) in diameter. On the understand Farsta is impressed on each of the four feet, Gustavsberg, Kage, the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia, Studio, and the date code Y. This piece was created in 1954. The name Hjelmberg is also etched. Mint condition.

This beautiful tankard and cup set is marked, JPL, Limoges for Jean Pouyat. It dates from the late 19th century up until 1932. The gilded grapes are beautifully executed against a cobalt blue ground. Perfect condition.

English Wedgwood Bone China Demitasse Cup and Saucer, raised enamel sprays of floral vines within geometric design border in yellow, cup-2 1/8" high, 3" wide include handle, saucer-4 3/4" diameter. Marked "Wedgwood, Bone China" "Made in England" and numbers on the bottom. The condition is good.

A Ruskin pottery vase by William Howson Taylor typically copying a Chinese Song dynasty shape. It has a purplish pink lustre "souffle" glaze and on the base is the impressed date 1931. Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration. 11cm (4.3 inches) high.

Czech Art Déco lidded box by Ditmar Urbach, boldly decorated with swirls or stylized flower heads in black, yellow, green and orange in "Persian" style within a framework of blue slip, c. 1930. Marked Czechoslovakia and Hand Painted. Diameter "4 ½ / 11.5 cm, height "2 ½ / 6.5 cm. Condition: fine.

These "Liberty Blue" dinner plates are 9 7/8" in diameter. They have a blue and white floral rim with a scene of Independence Hall in the center. They are in excellent condition.

This Palissy Ware center or serving piece has 3 clam styled bowls for serving condiments or food. They have a Jun Yao style of coloring of mottled blue and green with dabs of purple in the interior; outer walls are painted with ochre streaks. The body is encrusted with shells and bocage evoking colorful visions of the sea.
