This Chinese yixing teapot was handcrafted in 80' but has a nice old shape with a patina purple clay color. It's in excellent condition with the imprint of the artist signature "Ding Shan Ren".
This hand carved wooden comb belonged to a Miao Chinese minority women with limited means.
Comb would have been worn horizontally between the top of the woman's head and under the twisted bun of her hair. Comb is decorated with symbols which a burned into the wood. comb is 5 x 4 inches

A rather unusual fan painting (senmen) portraying an image of a dragon rising above the clouds done using fingers. The tradition of finger painting is thought to have originated from China. Eccentric literati artists used their fingers instead of the brush to become one with the painting. Work contains a signature and seal by an artist named Sonsen. Additionally, the inscription on the fan reads: finger painted by Sonsen. Age: Early 20th century Size: Height 55.5" Length 27.5"

This is a beautiful pair of small saucer in the motif of a lotus flowers in a pond. On the saucer, it has a outstanding stalk of lotus flower standing upright in full bloom. Below it, there are also two smaller flowers in full bloom. One of the flowers to the left has the petals dropping off showing the green pod, suggesting that the season is probably near mid summer. Around it, to the left, two butterflies are seen flying around...

A charming Chinese child's padded wind hat with the face of a tiger on the front. The tiger is a fierce animal which protects children from evil. Called a wind hat because of the protection it gives to the back of the neck, this hat is made of silk and embroidered with a butterfly on each side. In good antique condition, it does have some wear. Please study photos carefully. Colors are still vivid. Circa 1910.
