This lovely child's hat was hand-embroidered by women of Kohistan, an area of lush green forests and valleys located on the river Indus. The embroidery technique is a fine cross stitch and brick stitch in acrylic thread with white beads and buttons. Diameter: 7.5 inches, circumference: 18 inches. Condition: Excellent. Estimated age: late 20th century. The hat size indicates it was made for an infant or toddler.
Pair of Chinese celadon bottle vases with an overall crackle. The top rims have a brown wash, while the base rims are left unglazed. The base glazed in the same celadon colour. The insides glazed white or else a lighter shade of celadon. Also crackle. Unmarked.

This Tibetan woven wool sash from the mid to late 20th century measures 5½ x 104 inches (14 x 264.2 cm) including the braided fringes and is in excellent condition. These sashes are used by Tibetans to tie their traditional apron attire (chuba for women, lokpa for men) and also to secure knives, bundles etc. The luster of these wool belts is derived from the high lanolin content to be found in the hairs of high-altitude goats living in the Himalayan range from which these belts are woven...
This is a woman's shawl from Waziristan in deep magenta, yellow and black, with a woven cotton field on the edges and silk thread throughout. It measures 123 cm in width and 249.9 cm in length. Estimated age early to mid 20th century. Waziristan is entirely populated by ethnic Pashtuns and is named after the Wazir tribe. Condition is good, some staining to be expected from normal wear.
Han Dynasty - Warring States style cast Bronze Miniature Hu Vase, possibly period . Extensive mineral growth and areas of pitting a cast line can be seen on the base. Size H 5" by almost 3" square.

The carved rock crystal incense holder is 2 ¼ inches high, 3 ¼ inches long and 1 ¼ inches thick. It depicts a foo lion playing with a large globe. The incense holder is a 1980’s product and is in excellent condition.

Bag made of hand spun and vegetable indigo dye cotton, with beautiful sashiko. The lining cloth is cotton which looks hand spun and has katazome (stencil-resist dye) stripes. The metal clasp works well, which is antique handmade with boat motif. Generally in good condition but has some indigo faded spots and wear in one of the corners in the bottom.
