This circular jade (nephrite) pendant (or plaque) is 2 ¾” in diameter and 3/16” thick. It is a late 19th century product. It is carved on both sides and depicts a young boy holding a court tablet “Hu.” The boy is riding on a dragon headed carp and is surrounded by lucky clouds. A purple bowl of swirl shape in the style of Beranek – Skrdlovice – or Klinger – Zelezny Brod Sklo /ZBS. The Czech glassworks like many other industries were nationalised. This bowl originally must have been produced for the Skoda car factory since it bears the Skoda mark (in use from 1929). Length "5½/ 14 cm. Condition: wear to the base and a scratch mark near the base.

This Berwick Burple ice tea stem / tumbler is sometimes referred to as forest green "inspiration pattern". There were made by Anchor Hocking from 1950-1965. These stems are in excellent condition.

A wonderful translucent blue celadon Tobi vase done in the classic style of Longquan Chinese pottery. This piece was made by one of the few great female Japanese potters of the previous century—Suwa Sozan II, daughter of Meiji Imperial Court Artist Sozan I.

Suwa Sozan I (1852—1922) was born in an area of what is known today as Ishikawa prefecture. After a short stint in the military he took up pottery design and painting under Touda Tokuji in 1873...

Japanese glass obidome (sash ornament) with flowers floating on a stream with air bubbles and silver foil flakes. Obidome is worn on an obi cord that holds the obi sash together, it is the only type of jewelry worn by Japanese women on formal occasions, and could serve as netsuke as well. Nice design, wonderful quality glasswork, very pleasant to hold. Length 0.88 inches.

This really pretty green Colonial, aka Knife and Fork, depression glass two-handled sugar bowl with lid was made by Hocking Glass from 1934 to 1938. This sugar bowl measures 6 3/4 inches high to the top of the knob on the lid X 4 inches in diameter not including the handles. Anchor Hocking Bubble (Boopie) 16 oz. Lemonades were made from 1940-65 (7" tall). Commonly called Boopie. Many people purchase this less costly style to compliment Imperials' Candlewick. But I have a mystery here . . . The lemonade is suppose to be 6" tall, NOT 7". Anybody have an opinion here? Five are available. All in mint condition.

A wonderful sterling and cut glass muffineer measuring 8 ½ inches tall. The glass is by Pairpoint and is cut with sprays of foliage and is mounted in sterling fittings by Spalding & Co.. The underside of the sterling foot is marked “Spalding & Co., Sterling, 925/1000, 164.” Spaulding & Co. of Chicago was incorporated in 1888 and was then taken under the control of Gorham in the 1920s. The muffineer is in beautiful condition.

A woodblock print by the artist Karhu. The print is labeled "Hurry to Study". The full narrative is "Hurry to Study wih Age the Spirit Slows". Clifton Karhu became one of the most successful contemporary Western artists working in Japanese woodblock style. This is a really nice Cobalt Blue Moderntone 10 1/2 inch Sandwich Plate made by Hazel Atlas Glass from 1934 to mid-1950s. This Plate is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, however, there are a couple mold lines visible on the plain surface of the plate (common to see in the vintage, plain glass). This porcelain demitasse set for 8 was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1955. The mark contains the date cipher for that year. The set consists of a demitasse pot and 8 cups and saucers. The pot is 8 3/4 inches high and 6 1/2 inches from the spout to the handle. The cup is 2 1/4 inches high and the saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches. The porcelain is bone china with an ivory hue.
