This interesting circa 1920s walking stick has a carved pelican's head for a handle. In its beak, the bird is holding what looks like a melon. Handle measures are 4 inches. The bird has glass eyes and the head sits on top of a rosewood shaft 1/4 inch in diameter and a 1-1/4-inch ivory tip. Overall length of this stick is 35-1/2 inches.

Interesting Modern Glass vessel depicting a stylized expression of a tree branch covered with abstract crawling critters and a realistic rendering of a glass ladybug. A beautiful, 3-piece, Murano glass perfume set, made most likely by Archimede Seguso, around 1940. It is in their 'Bullicante'/bubbles decor, with pink inner and clear outer casings. The heights of the three pieces are, 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm), 5 7/8 inches (15 cm) and 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) respectively. Overall, in good condition - there is a nick on the inner-rim of the powder jar, and, some glue on atomizer to shut outlet. Faded acid-etched signature, 'Made in Italy'.

A beautiful, large art glass bowl, made by Kosta Boda in their 'Unica' series - it was done by Lindstrand. The bowl's coloration fades from purple-to-clear. It is 11 3/4 inches (30 cm) long and 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) high. It is in fine condition (some usage scratches on bottom). Polished pontil. It is signed with acid-etching, 'Lindstrand Kosta' and is numbered, 'L.H.1001'.

A rare Murano glass Amberina vase with controlled bubbles ('Bullicante') and having gold-fleck applied handles. The vase is 6 3/4 inches (17 cm) wide and 5 inches (12,5 cm) tall. It is in fine condition. Unsigned. It is attributed to Barrovier-Seguso-Ferro (probably designed by Flavio Poli).

Offered is this beautiful green pulled-feather vase, made by Durand (Vineland Glass Company) around 1930. The vase is 6 1/4 inches tall and is in excellent condition. Polished pontil. This lot consists of two serving dishes dated to Qianlong period done in underglaze blue on white. Both plates have unglazed bases.

A tall amber-colored, signed art deco era decanter, made by Moser. Overall, the decanter is in good condition (the decanter has been examined under black-light: there are no cracks in the decanter) - there are some chips however (the biggest one shown in the last picture). The tall decanter is 20 1/2 inches (52 cm) tall and 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) wide at the bottom. It is signed on its bottom (also, a similar decanter is shown on page 141 of Baldwin's book, 'Moser Artistic Glass edition two').

Offered is this pair of superb blue pulled-feather stems, made by Durand (Vineland Glass) around 1930. The taller wine glass is 4 1/2 inches tall, while the shorter one is 3 inches tall. Both are in excellent condition and have polished pontils. Though unsigned, they are guaranteed to have been made by Durand (refer to pages 91 and 97 of Meschi's book for similar-shaped stems - shown in last two pictures here for your convenience).

Offered is this rare Orrefors 'Ariel' glass vase designed by Edvin Ohrstrom - the vase has a 'Stress Line' running through it. Chinese famille rose plate with a central figure of a rooster with other roosters among lotus blooms and other foliage. The underside of this plate has been covered in pewter, leaving the base exposed that shows a six character iron red Guangxu mark. With the addition of pewter, this dish is quite heavy.

I am not a specialist in this sort of thing, but will describe to the best of my ability: this is a vintage, circa 1920's to early 1940's at latest, ceramic work depicting a distant fairy castle, towering cumulus clouds in the sky, a grove of trees at right balancing the scene. Measurements are 9 1/2" by 10 1/2" by 7/8" thick, and the piece weighs roughly 2 3/4 pounds. More than likely this is by one of the known ceramic works of California from the Arts and Crafts period; found in Los Angeles....

Beautiful cranberry-cut-to-clear glass decanter. The generously-sized bottle has terrific color and very nice quality cutting of hobstars, strawberry diamond, and notched prism motifs. The stopper has a blown teardrop and is cut in a matching pattern. The bottom is cut with a full hobstar. The neck and stopper are engraved with matching numbers (signifying that this is the original stopper). The bottom is signed in script.

Origin: Belgium, ca. 1930. Condition: mint. Size: 16" tall.
