Japanese mid-century sosaku hanga woodblock print depicting a horse in a stable by Kiyoshi Saito (1907-1997). Signed in black ink at the lower left and with the artist's red seal above. Unlimited edition dating circa 1960. Paper size: 11 1/2" x 17 1/8" (image: 10 1/8" x just over 15"). The print was never framed and is in very good overall condition and color with full margins. There is some waviness to the paper and a couple of the margin corners have creases.

This very nice Chinese seal stone carving of a seated merchant is a mid 20th century product. It depicts a well dressed merchant sitting comfortably while holding a bag on his shoulder. He has an engaging smile on his face. It is 2 3/8” high, 1 ¾” wide and 1” thick. It is in excellent condition.
A handsome sterling silver rollover jigger by Cartier. The jigger's two arms rest across the top of a glass or cocktail shaker. After filling, it's simply flipped over the empty the contents without making a mess. The bottom is marked "Cartier Sterling", indicating it would have been sold at Cartier's flagship New York store.

Vintage Japanese uchikake (wedding kimono) crafted from heavy woven and embroidered silk brocade fabric with extensive gilt thread in a dense pattern of flowers and peacocks. Mid-20th century. The lining is fine red silk. Very good overall condition with only minor wear at the bottom corners where the lining meets the brocade. Measures about 73" in length by about 50" across. This wonderfully inventive Art Deco silverplate jigger measures 3/4, 1, 1-1/2 and 2 ounces. The cube joining the various cups shows measurements on one side and is stamped with the hallmark for Benedict Manufacturing Company (1894-1953) on the other. Beautiful 4-string lute ("saranghi"), the top in the shape of a head holds the four keys, the body itself is made of two parts of heart shape. Wood, with nice dark-brown glossy patina. The lower part is covered with animal skin affixed with tiny wood pegs. Himalaya, 19th century. Height: 22 1/4" (55,6 cm). The lute is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Japanese Antique Aka Raku Chawan (tea bowl) by the 1st Choraku Ogawa (1874-1939).
The potter's mark is stamped near the foot ring.
Ogawa Choraku is one of the best known Raku potters of modern times and the founder of Choraku potter family.
He became the disciple of 11th Raku Kichizaemon (Keinyu) and 12th Raku Kichizaemon (Konyu) and started his own kiln in 1904.
He received the name Choraku in 1906 from Choyuken, the head of a Urasenke tea ceremony association.
The potter's mark is stamped near the foot ring.
