A signed Steuben jar with threaded lid on an optic swirled rib footed body. The bristol yellow jar is 7 inches tall and 3 3/4 inches in diameter at the shoulder. There are two minor chips on the threading of the lid. The base has a polished pontil and there is an acid stamped Steuben fleur de lys mark. Small pink rock crystal teapot. It is carved with 5 dragons cut with a grinding wheel in high relief. One of them serves as a handle, another as a pouring spout and a third as a gripping fretel. The last two are flanked on either side of the teapot. The 5 dragons have a strong cultural significance in Chinese art. Wooden base, finely crafted with stylized dragons. Fine old wedding blanket from the Mulao ethnic group in Southern China. This has a classic floral, butterfly and phoenix weft embroidered pattern. Excellent condition with no damage- this is woven with all handspun cotton thread with some tiny bits of silk floss. The dyes are a combination of indigo and possibly aniline and organic mix in the red and orangeish colors. L: 100cm/39.5in and W: 72cm/28.2in - with border L:122cm/48in and W: 88cm/35in.
