This mid 20th century Japanese cloisonné vase is 7 ¼” high and 3” on the widest part. It depicts a finch resting on a branch of a peony tree. It is in excellent condition.
Florence Peruzzi jewelry has not had a published relationship to the more collectible and harder to find jewelry created by the former Gino M. Peruzzi Jewel Shop of Boylston Street in Boston MA. All that is known is that Gino came here from Italy and enjoyed a healthy rivalry with G. Cini who was said to have moved his store 2 doors from the other. Two pair of Chinese turquoise glazed foo dog statues.
One pair on stands with the female holding it's young with it's right paw and the male holding a ball with it's left paw. Unglazed bases with the word China in faint on the base in red.
The other pair are in stance. Again with unglazed bases with incised numbers.

A Sterling Silver Four Footed Georgian Style Sugar and Creamer Made by Mueck-Cary Co., now Towle, dating from the 1940's. The creamer is 4" high x 4 1/4" wide and weighs 4 Troy ounces; the sugar is 3 1/4" high x 5" wide and weighs 4 Troy ounces.
Indian horoscope scroll. Hand painted on cotton. 183 x 24 cm. Numerous images followed by text on both sides.
Undated, estimated to be early to mid 29th cent. Can be viewed in central London and shipped worldwide.
Japanese woven suiban. This low, shallow container is used for ikebana flower arranging. Rectangular in form, this suiban is raised on low feet. A grain or leaf-like design is woven into all sides and the corners have intricate knot work. An oval shaped metal container sits perfectly inside for holding water.

Japanese 4-panel screen painting depicting a scene of ducks swimming along the edge of a pond or stream. Tall grasses and rocks rise from the water. Painted in mineral colors on gold ground.

A fine and large stoneware dish by Sakuma Totaro (1900~1979). Decorated with a flowering plum tree against an oatmeal coloured ground. The back is plain and glazed with a clear transparent ash glaze.
The original wood storage box (tomobako) lid is inscribed in ink "Mashiko decorative dish with plum in iron oxide", the signature of the potter with his red seal.
First son of Sakuma Fukujiro, a mingei potter in Mashiko, Totaro studied ceramics with his father...

Japanese limited edition woodblock print by French artist Paul Jacoulet (1902-1960) titled "The Squatting Man. Chinese" (L'Homme accroupi. Chinois) published November 20, 1947. This image is illustrated on page 66 (plate 88) of “The Prints of Paul Jacoulet” by Richard Miles, 1982. It is described on page 108. The print is pencil-signed and bears the red owl seal at the lower right corner of the image. The seal of the carver and printer (Maeda/Honda) is at the lower right margin corner...

A bowl, made in imitation of late Qing Imperial style, with two roundels - one depicting a five clawed Dragon and the other a Phoenix - both separated by two iron red bats and above stylized breaking waves. The base carries what is probably the factory mark which, in Pinyin, reads "Jiu Jiang Hui Kang Chu Pin". This item was made in China in the 1940s during the late Republic period.
