This is a tobacco pouch from Indus Kohistan in Pakistan, probably from Kolai or Palas Valley. Circa mid 20th century. It is embroidered in an extremely fine, solidly worked brick stitch in various colored silk threads on a black cotton background. The outer edges of the bag are embellished with beaded tassles. One side of the purse features zigzag motifs, the other, interlocking diamond motifs...

By Hector Aguilar, the renowned silversmith from Taxco Mexico, this cream and sugar are made of copper with wood handles. They measure 3 5/8" high, and the sugar bowl is 5" to ends of handles. The wood is dark and finely grained. The handle of the creamer is slightly lighter in color. Both are simple design, with attached lid and ball finial, and are hand crafted. They are signed on the base with his conjoined initial monogram, with Taxco Mexico also stamped...

A wonderful Mid Century Modern box by Salvador Teran in brass embellished with tiles in shades of blue, red, green, orange, black and white. Depicts a servant with a steaming bowl of food. Signed on the bottom, Hand Wrought, Salvador, Hecho en Mexico, 430. Box measures 5 5/8" long, 4" wide and 1 3/4" tall. Has some minor tarnish and one very small area of uneven finish. Tight hinge. A pair of Roden (Birks) sterling 1930s napkin rings. Roden (of Toronto) was bought out by Birks in 1928. These 5/8" wide sterling napkin ring measures 1-3/4" across and they have the Roden maker's mark and STERLING. Birks bought all Roden's inventory and parts and molds, and the Roden mark can be seen on some Birks silver items until several years after. They weighs 13.0 grams and they are in excellent vintage condition with no breaks, bends, corrosion, losses, or repairs...

Antique early 20th-century Indian padlock entirely made of brass and adorned with the Hindu god Hanuman on the front plate.

Please note that this lock is entirely made of brass, including body and shackle. The later Indian brass padlocks have an iron shackle instead of a flat brass shackle like this padlock.
