Aldo Londi for Bitossi: a massive stoneware vase, thinly applied glaze to the exterior a rhombic pattern of in orange and yellow with “volcanic” effects, and a glossy glaze to the interior. Aldo Londi was the artistic leader of Bitossi, the renowned Italian ceramic company. Marked 3030/537 and Italy. Height "7/ 18 cm. Condition: a few glaze flakes to the mouth rim (cf. pics).

A stoneware pitcher made up by a tall and narrow cylinder and a semispherical shape, united by a circular handle. Greige and matte glaze with pin holes and other “volcanic” effects, the inside white and glossy. Illegible signature under the glaze, possibly for Bruno Gambone Italy. Height "7/ 18 cm. Condition: fine.

A pair of gold and agate baton cufflinks, the agate very dark, a brown strip visible when held towards the light. Made around 1920, French 18K hallmarks to the small links attached to the batons. Condition: fine.

Modernist globular silver earrings by renown Finnish designer Liisa Vitali whose characteristics are pierced, cut-out shapes. The Leppäkerttu / Ladybug collection appeared around 1970. Together with the Pitsi / Lace series it belongs to Vitali’s most popular designs. Swedish import marks (three crowns in an oval and S) and 925. Diameter of the little globes: "3/5/ 1.5 cm. Elegant silver pin brooch with two cabochon cut amethyst stones surrounded by leaf vines in Art Nouveau / Jugendstil. Made in Germany c 1910 and marked 835 for the silver content. Swedish import mark (three crowns in an oval and S). Width "2/ 5.5 cm, height "3/4/ 1.8 cm. Condition: fine.

Bronze clip earrings by Pentti Sarpaneva, Finland, 1960s. Sarpaneva made use of this little flower also in his rings and pendants. Unmarked. Width "1/ 2.5 cm. Condition: fine.

San Antonio de Padua, a silver filigree reliquary pendant, 17th or early 18th century, Portuguese or Spanish work. To one side a plaque showing Saint Anthony and the Christ Child surrounded by the letters SADP, to the other Christ’s head and SALV MUND SALV NOS. Enclosed in the wreath of lily-shaped filigree petals, Gothic in character, is a red ribbon or cloth fragment, purportedly from the dress of the saint. Antique Tibetan or Nepalese Buddhistic Thangka / Tangka, gouache on canvas, second half of the 19th century. In original condition, fastened to a wooden stick and o be rolled up with a cinnamon-brown silk cover to protect the painting which is framed by silk brocade of the same colour. The back with the name of the artist, a Buddhistic monk, finely inscribed in red. The picture itself represents one hundred boddhisatvas in various sizes and positions among clouds. Antique amulet or talisman, originally a pendant. Black and gray jasper or agate and probably late 19th century, both sides with incised Islamic script. Width "1 ½ / 4 cm. Condition: fine.

A burl wood thread box and a crochet hook or needle case. Both Swedish, the thread box made of birch wood, the crochet hook case with the impressed name of a haberdasher in Eskilstuna, an old industrial center in Sweden. The lid of the case with a practical hexagonal form, to stay in place, and a pretty acorn end. Length "7 1/3 / 19 cm, height of the thread box"3/ 7.5 cm. Condition: fine.

Handsewn, very neat little crocodile cuff links, English, c 1930 -1950 or earlier. Measures "½ x ½ / 12x 12 mm. Condition: fine.

A fayence pap boat or invalid feeder, tin glazed. With ribbed sides and rustic decoration of flowers in blue, yellow and green. Southern Germany, probably Schrezheim. Length "8 / 20 and height "2 ¾ / 7 cm. Condition: some wear to the spout (cf. pics).

A small jug, an 18th century model skillfully copied after a cruet set from the faïencerie of Veuve Perrin in Marseilles (1760 – 1803). To one side a gentle couple harvesting - a mock rural scenery - and to the other floral decoration, all in 18th century Rococo style. A heavy Bristol green rummer, the stem with a nice grip, and a wine glass. Mouth blown and made around 1810, the rims softly rounded. The pontil mark of the wine glass removed by grinding, while it is still left on the rummer. Some little air bubbles, the rim of the wine glass with a mark from the tongs used to cut the bowl loose from the pontil. Height "5 ½ / 14 cm and "4 / 11 cm respectively. Condition: fine, except for a minimal scratch mark to the bowl of the rummer.

A pair of heavy Bristol wine glasses, peacock blue. Mouth blown and made around 1800 – 1810, the rim softly rounded. The pontil mark of one glass removed by grinding. Removal of the pontil mark was often done on lead “finer” glass (the lead allowed for cut designs). On the other glass the mark is deeper and so is still there, despite grinding. Height "4 ½ / 11.5 cm. Condition: fine.

A Delft blue and white mid 18th century plate with a flower basket in Chinese Kangxi style surrounded by a “Kraak” border, the rim yellow glazed. Diameter "9 / 23 cm. Faience pitcher by Aegitna in Vallauris, France. Aegitna or Saltamacchia was one of the first ceramic workshops established in the village of Vallauris near Cannes and the Mediterranean. Vallauris was to become the most famous center in postwar Europe for the renewal of ceramic art, and many modernist ceramists like Picasso settled there to work. A French faience pot de crème / custard pot, c 1760, ribbed and decorated with flowers in petit feu enamels. The style of the decoration as well as the shape resembles that of Veuve Perrin, Marseille, but the signature, a monogrammed JR, indicates that the little pot originates from the manufacture of Joseph Robert, also in Marseille. Height including lid "3 ¼ / 8 cm. Condition: some roughness to rims (cf. pics).
