Wedgwood blue jasper ware bead pendant. Jasper ware, invented and introduced by Josiah W in the late 18th century, was a success in the neoclassical period around 1800.The extremely finely moulded white ornaments are fixed to unglazed blue stoneware to create a carved cameo effect. The bead is Georgian, from the last years of the 18th century, whereas the silver gilt chain is later, c 1900. It is stamped Sterling and has a Swedish import mark (three crowns in an oval and an S)...

Victorian hinged bracelet made by Bernhard Hertz. Surprisingly modern design of two rope ends, one polished and gilt, the other appears to be twisted. Dragon brooch in the Viking style, the fable animal copied from the superbly elegant 12th century wood carvings on the portal of Urnes stave church in Norway, now on the Unesco World Heritage list. Sterling silver with marks 925, NM under crown for the National Museum and Copy. Height including the small (and movable) handle "2/ 5.3 cm. Condition: fine.

Silver gilt filigree and enamel brooch by Topazio, depicting a lovely Portuguese lady with a basket of grapes. Figures in elegantly traditional dress are found in many of Topazio’s pieces from the 1920’s and 30’s. The chains fixed to the pin makes the brooch move, and so draws attention to its wearer. A massive silver ring by Antonio Belgiorno, Buenos Aires, c 1940-50. The geometric design and the use of oxidizing is typical of Belgiorno, who is one of Argentina’s most well known artists in silver. A solid piece of jewelry that really makes a statement. Marked A Belgiorno, Industria Argentina T27 and 900. Open and adjustable, the inner diameter at present 18 mm which corresponds to size 6 ½. Condition: fine.

Silver pendant and chain by Karl Laine, Finnfeelings, one of his Spider Web designs from around 1970. Mark for Finnfeelings, 925H, A for the town of Åbo / Turku, T7 for 1972 and Swedish import mark (three crowns and S). Diameter "1 2/5 / 3.3 cm, length of chain "24 ½ / 62 cm. Condition: fine.

Elegant silver filigree brooch, a Norwegian solje. Less exuberant in style than most filigree solje brooches, without any enamel or gilt - just two shimmering roundels and the traditional chains holding the little pendant ornaments. Silver standard mark 830S and the pin hook with the three crowns of the Swedish hallmark – the brooch was made around 1900 when Sweden and Norway were united (the union was dissolved in 1905). Width "1 ½ / 3.7 and height "2/ 5.3 cm. Condition: fine.

Sterling silver pendant with a large rock crystal, by Finnish designer Salovaara. Designer’s mark for Salovaara: an ice bear, 925, A for the city of Abo (Finnish: Turku) where Salovaara had his workshop and U7 = year mark for 1972. The back of the loop with the mark for import to Sweden (three crowns in an oval an S). To the underside there is an engraved date, probably for the time of presentation to a former owner...

A large silver filigree star-shaped pin, 1960s. Marked Sterling Norway and makers mark LJH for Leif J Hansen who worked in the town of Bergen, Norway 1948-77. Diameter "2/ 4.8 cm. Condition: fine.

Scandinavian vintage earrings, clips, by Bent Knudsen, 1960’s. Of shallow form, with rounded sides. Marks: Bent K, Denmark, Sterling and 22 (model or design number). Width "½/ 17 mm. Condition: fine.

Large Ottoman part belt buckle half, 19th century. Classic Paisley (teardrop) shape. Repoussé and engraved decoration of an eagle surrounded by flowers. Use of both hook and backside bars will make the buckle a perfect and beautiful pendant. The back with engraved name “Aine” in European lettering. Height "3 ½/ 9 cm, weight 49 grams. Condition: fine.

Interesting silver ring with a big red cabochon agate and some gold, made by Danish silversmith Ole W Jacobsen (workshop 1952 – 2002). The ring is hand hammered all around, the gold probably not under 14 K. An old “scar” to the stone, made by nature herself, has been left untouched to let the setting follow its shape. Signed OWJ and 925 S. Inner diameter "3/4 /15 mm. Condition: fine.

Scandinavian modernism: silver ring with a cabochon rose quartz by Niels Erik From, Denmark, c 1960. Signed From and 925 S. Inner diameter "2/3 / 16 mm. Condition: fine.

Modernist pin made up of little silver “icicles”, their brightness being heightened by carré cut rock crystals. Made in the 1960’s by Kordes & Lichtenfels in Pforzheim, Germany. Marked K&L and 835 for silver content. Importation mark for Sweden (three crowns in an oval and S). Width "1 ½ / c 4 cm. Safety clasp. Condition: fine.

Modernist cufflinks made up of eight little geometrically arranged cylinders. Made by Isaac Cohen, Stockholm and marked ICO, S:t Erik’s head (the hallmark for Stockholm), R9 = year mark for 1967, three crowns and S indicating the Swedish silver standard of the time = 830/1000. Width "1 / 2.8 cm. Condition: fine.

Taxco Mexican brooch or pin by Miguel Melendez. Pre-Columbian motif of a stylized bird’s head surrounded by a circle with azurite inlay. Fully marked, with maker’s mark (small m inside a C), eagle stamp and 3 = after 1948. Security clasp. Diameter "1½/ 3,8 cm. Condition: fine.
