An original very rare dark green amber Han hill jar with lions, tigers, monkeys, deer, and horse and rider with bow and arrow. The lid of the hill jar represent the five scared mountains which is the path between the earth and Paradise.The scared mountains is filled with animals that live there. A beautiful authentic Western Han pottery cocoon jar in the shape of a silkworm cocoon. The outer surface is embellished with the original painted abstract banding and scrolling designs in pigments of dark and light brick reds, grey blue, and white. Size: H. 28cm.L. 31cm. A pair of nicely formed hollow glazed pottery birds. Both have round plump figures and lots of character. The darker bird has two glazes - a brown splash of glaze that runs over a straw glaze. The lighter bird has a celadon colored glaze. The glaze on both birds have a very fine crackle.

Period: Tang (7th-10th Century)

Size: Both birds approximately 4.7 cm high.

Condition: Good. normal wear from age. Left foot on brown bird is chipped but is not visible unless turned ...

A very large museum quality blue cobalt Jar. It is very, very rare to find this type of vase in cobalt blue, especially in this size and condition. The center of the vase has a relief of a dragon chasing the elusive flaming pearl. Size: H. 92.8cm. W. 46cm. Condition: Very good with no repairs or missing parts. One side has some calcification from being buried for a long time. It show up more in the photo than it actually is.

A nice rare scalloped Liao plate, boldly incised with blossoms and leaves, under a cream and bright leaf green and amber glaze. Comes with a certificate from the Chinese Government Auction House. Size: Diameter. 13.5cm. Condition: A broken piece at the rim that was glued back on probably at the site. It is almost invisible on the front of the plate. See photos.

Rare Complete set of a Chinese Tang Sancai plate with seven matching cups. It is very rare to find a complete matching set like this. Size:Diameter: 25 cm. or 9.84 inches. Condition: Very good. Minor professional repair on the rim. Hard to locate it.

A very large authentic Tang tomb guardian wearing a typical warrior's uniform standing on an evil earth creature with remains of the original pigments. The guardian was there to protect the tomb from these evil creatures. The item was found with its parts separated.Large statues like this were made in several parts. See last photo. This is the most desirable of all the Han dogs. Not only has it been beautiful executed but has one of the nicest faces I have ever seen on a Han dog,it looks great from every angle. Size: H.26.5cm. A Rare Green glazed pair of Foo Lions joss stick holders from the Ming Dynasty. Joss sticks are incense on sticks and burned in religious ceremonies usually placed along side of Buddha. Size: H. 13.2cm. Condition: No repairs. Some minor small chips due to age.

An exceptionally and very rare beautiful and unusual stem bowl with a thick black glaze and decorative bands painted in an iron rust color. There is one boldly etched (scraffiato) large flower with leaves. The background of the flower is in an iron rust glaze accentuating the floral spray. A very rare extremely large storage jar from the Chinese Song period, 960 -1126 AD.These jars were used for storage for Chinese trading vessels. They were then traded off to Chieftains in Southeast Asia and were considered sacred items. Most jars were from the Ming to the middle Qing Dynasties.
