It was well preserved with nice patina.

Description: A Ming porcelain water basin was in very good mood.
Well crackled in the glaze, this scholar item was supposedly being used for some time due to the residue of the paint.
It was heavily potted and owned a unique mood of rural scholar taste.

Date: Ming Dynasty. 16th/17th Centuries.

Description:

A high-footed Qingbai censer was in decent form.
By flat mouth rim. the censer was stand with floral stem foot.
In characteristic lake-green tint, the glaze was suffused with whitish incursions when frets were observed on the ridges of the floral patterns.
Characteristic and darken firing effects were yielded on the body clay inside the stem foot.

Date: Northern Song Dynasty, 11th/12th century.

Description:

A Yaozhou covered jar was in fantastic look.
It was well carved with floral motifs on the surface.
In characteristically yellowish green tint of the glaze, the ware was revealed with the also characteristic beige body clay.
Obvious incursions were happened to the glaze in foggy look.
One manufacturing defect was found at the foot ring.
Otherwise, it was in perfect condition without any restorations,.

Date: Jin Dynasty, 11th/12th century...

It was preserved in very good condition with nice patina on the surface.

Description:

An archaic bone Xi was from Warring States periods.
By enduring old patina, the ancient decorative piece was still in sound quality when old carving lines were revealed clearly.
It was also used as an instrument to loose the knotting rope.
An original hole was in the middle for fastening.

Date: Warring States,481-221B.C.

Length: 6.4cm.

Condition: One minute defect at the tip, fine restoration.

Description:

An archaic decorative Bi was rarely carved in a material of rock crystal.
Other than the commonly-seen material-jadestone, crystal was used to be esteemed as the precious gem and being treasured among the noble people.
This crystal Bi was carved on both sides with the characteristic grains-motif.
By traditional craftsmanship, the separated dots were lined up by crossing straight lines firstly...

Description: An archaic jade tube or bead was excavated in a fine condition. By a light mustard-green tint, the jade piece was drilled from both sides by hand-made tool. That made the tunnel narrowed from the open mouth. Manually grinding scars were left obviously on the surface verifying its an ancient piece for sure. Date: Early Spring and Autumn Periods (pre-1600 B.C.E.), Length: 9cm. It is easy to hold in the palm for hand warming exercise. A FITTED SILK BOX IS INCLUDED.

Description:

A bronze water basin was in square form.
Stand by four angle-shaped feet, the water basin was decorated on the upper portion with the geometric patterns.
On the underside, there'e ancient archaic characters being inscribed.
These archaic characters were Xiao Zhuan which were being used in Warring States of 481-221BC.
In Song dynasty, the connoisseurs admired the ancient cultures and would used the utensils which owned the archaic moods...

A Beautiful necklace was from an elegant lady now retired from collection field.

Description: An ivory brushrest was in a fine look.
Depicting the mountain view and a monk-like figure which were in characteristic simple form of early Qing periods, the ivory piece was well rendered by affluent carving skills.
The enduring old and warm patina was preserved on the surface when darken adhesives were kept in the crevices due to age.
It was kept in a perfect condition and was fitted with a later made wood stand.

Description: An elegant jade table screen was carved with motifs of scholar rock, orchids and bat. With good metaphors, the table screen was an typical scholar items for traditional Chinese connoisseurs. In pale milky white tint, the carving styles can be judged to date the item a 18th century's piece. An incense cylinder was carved by excellent craftsmanship.
Depicting the casual scene of a court lady reading a scroll under a pine tree while a attendant boy hidden behind the trunk reaching his head out by curiosity, the craftsman maneuvered his fine and affluent carving skill to make the picture as much detailed and pleasant as well.
The cylinder was carved in deep relief and was pierced through in some portions to allow the incense smoke to swirl out.

Description:

A bronze censer's cap was well cast and was exquisitely carved with beautiful motifs.
On top there's a lion's head with bulging eyes, fiercing fangs and well defined hairs.
At the lower portion, the spiral clouds were above the sea waves.

Under the cap, the molding clay was still reserved for verifying.

It was a fine piece for verifying the excellency of the ancient metal work. The golden metal sheen was an evidence for its fine quality too...

Description:

A Tang bronze mirror was finely cast in beautiful motifs.
It was in perfect condition with the harden burial adhesives on the surface.
Some similar pieces are in the documentation.
