This is a very fine example of a simple, yet elegant First Period Dr. Wall Worcester coffee cup. The painting is very nicely executed, and features a large, loose bouquet of flowers, and other scattered blooms, including a purple tulip. The handle is grooved and there is a gilded rim.
The cup is 2 1/2" tall and has a diameter of 2 3/8". The condition is superb, with no chips, cracks, restoration, or scratches. The enamels are vibrant, and the gilding is 99.9% intact.
A superb Derby porcelain coffee can displaying a wrecked ship and rescue efforts. This can was painted by George Robertson, whose depictions of ships and maritime scenes are among the most highly sought after and collected items of Derby porcelain. Lovely porcelain figure of a billy goat standing on a pad decorated with flowers and foliage. The pad has a slightly impressed decoration on the front and gilt lines at the edges. A gold anchor mark is painted on the back of the base.
Origin: England, 1756-69. Condition: mint, except a tiny flake on the bottom of the pad base. Size: 1-3/8" x 2-1/8" x 2-1/4" tall. The anchor mark is just under 1/4" tall.

A Worcester mug with flared sides decorated in transfer printed underglaze blue of sprigs of natural flowers. Although it is unmarked the transfer on one side is identical to the one shown on the side of a Worcester marked jug shown in plate 282 of Godden’s Caughley and Worcester Porcelains 1775-1800. The bowl and saucer are in very good condition, with the saucer having a small flaw, which appears to be in the making, at the edge at 11 o'clock. The bowl has no issues at all. Colors are much stronger than shown in the photos. The saucer is 5" in diameter, and the bowl is 1 3/4" in height.

An uncommon form (only one or two were part of a full service), made by Worcester in the Dr. Wall period. The design has a central rose surrounded by garlands of flowers in cartouches, all done in a soft European palette. Alternating with these cartouches are others that are pure white, making this decoration very unusual. The background of the dish is, of course, the desirable blue scale made so famous by Worcester.

A lovely and rare Chaffers Liverpool porcelain miniature tea bowl, hand painted with three sprigs of flowers, the interior with a pair of leaves, the rim painted with a puce color. Offered is a lovely 18th Century Worcester Flight period teacup and saucer with swirl fluting and cobalt and gilt decoration, with a thistle motif. The decoration appears to be entirely hand painted. A wonderful Dr. Wall First Period antique English porcelain ovoid vase, painted in the Mandarin style with Chinese figures in interior scenes, within wide red and gilt borders.
