A fine and early Worcester sweetmeat, the open shell curled over at one side, the undulating rim strongly shaded in green with a yellow inner border to the green. Painted in the Meissen style with a central flower spray surrounded by scattered smaller sprays.
Superb bright condition with no issues at all. The length is 4 3/4", the width 5 1/4", and the height 1 3/4".

A very nice pair of Staffordshire spaniels highlighted with gilt decoration. Each dog wears a collar with a padlock and a chain. The muzzles are decorated with pink and black overglaze enamel, and the eyes are set with glass eyes. Both have the whimsical "Joan Crawford" eyebrows. This porcelain plate was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1890. The plate measures 9 1/8 inches in diameter. The fine bone china is decorated with a Persian inspired design.
