An early Worcester patty pan with everted rim, carefully painted in blue with the "Bare Tree and Speared Bird" pattern. The pattern features an oriental landscape with a turreted single story building between a figure and a tree, within a diaper pattern pendent husk and scroll border. Workman's mark on the exterior base.

The condition of this piece is excellent, with crisp deep colors and no cracks, chips, or other flaws. The diameter is 4 3/16" (10.5 cm).

Unusual tile of a seated man in a flat cap holding a fishing pole while his wife in a bonnet cap seated beside him looks at him. A charming scene. The tile has tapered sides.5 ¼ inches (13.5 cm) square. ½ inches (1.5 cm thick).

Condition; major old restoration to the upper left corner, similar restoration along the right edge in the column and other very minor chips.

I think this is a fairly rare format with the columns and arch. The figures have a certain humor and art.

Rare large ironstone platter in the Imari taste with a cobalt blue border by G.L. Ashworth, the successor to Mason’s. The platter’s rim is unusually decorated with reserves showing Japanese ladies with parasols and floral elements surrounded by gilding. The central design shows an Asian-themed still life including peonies, lotus blossoms, pagodas, etc. The back is printed with Ashworth’s mark, is impressed “Real Ironstone China”, and has a decorator’s mark.

A Large and Impressive Hand Painted Dutch Delft Vase. Eight reserves; four large ones of a bird and four lesser ones of a stag. Label on the base says "De Oude Moriaans Hoult (The Old Moors Head) Holland Delft (the mark) 1759". This refers to the potters mark, which was first used in 1759 (the Old Moors Head dates from 1648).
