Antique, 19th century, Victorian British Bristol spouted pewter quart tankard, about 1850, well-marked with a Bristol City circled verification mark on the left side of the handle, labeled 'QUART,' back stamped with Crown over CBC (Bristol County of City).
MEASUREMENTS: Height: 15.3 cm (6 inches). Bottom diameter: 12 cm (4 23/32 inches).
Weight = 854 grams (30.12 ounces).
Offered together as one lot, THREE pewter antique plates: one 8" diameter, bearing touch marks of London pewterer Samuel Ellis (1721-1773) and cursive initials "M P"; one, 8" diameter, no touch marks but antique initials, a primitive "P G" cut into the surface on bottom (and, considerably heavier than the other plates); finally, a plate of 9 1/4" diameter, no markings...

Rare Art Deco box circa 1900-1920. The top displayed geometric design in pewter and tortoiseshell. The sides and bottom exhibit lovely relief of flowers and birds.

A lovely set of three pewter measuring mugs for quarter, Pint and 1/2 pint, England, 18th.-19th. century.
Scarce as a complete set in this quality with brass rims and profusely inscribed with owners names and fine pewter touchmarks. The Quarter mug (1 quart Imperial capacity) is quite large and would probably have contained nearly a liter liquid. A rare pair of very early and beautiful baroque Pewter candlesticks, pricket type, probably germany or England, 17th. century.
