An exceptional Victorian Tunbridge Ware trinket or dresser box circa 1850s. Tunbridgeware was made as souvenir ware in England and Scotland. It consists of tiny inlaid exotic wood tesserae in geometric designs. This 4-3/8 x 4-1/4" and 1-3/4" high example has a repeating floral pattern on the top, a Greek key design on the sides and a bird's eye maple ground. A beautiful Nineteenth Century English‘s Victorian Chamber Stick in Brass Measuring 3“ x 12“ in a fry pan design

Rare George III Ambry in mahogany having an hinged arched top opening to a well and a paneled cabinet door flanked py pilasters, and the whole raised on ball feet. In Christian churches, items kept in an ambry include chalices and other vessels, as well as items for the reserved sacrament, the consecrated elements from the Eucharist. English, circa 1760.

Beautifully detailed spelter lamp of a school boy dressed in knickers and a cape, holding his book under his arm. The whole lamp stands 41" tall with an 8" diameter on the base. The figure of the boy, without the base or the font, stands 20 1/2" tall. There is a small chip on the top rim of the shade, but everything else is in perfect condition. This is one of the nicest lamps of its kind that I've had.

A fine Chinese Zhao Dynasty Two Handle Vase from the warring states phase b.c. 475-221. Measuring about 4” x 5”

Arts and Crafts oak lamp table by L & JG Stickley. Circa 1912. Original dark brown finish and bearing a decal under the top that reads "Work of L & JG Stickley." Beautiful old Nepali/Tibetan bamboo box with rattan bindings and metal chain. Bought this in Kathmandu in 1986 and it always been one of my favorite pieces. There are cracks on the outside of the bamboo, but none on the inside. H: 20cm/8in and 9.8cm/3.9in.

Chinese large pair of restored cabinets, each in two stacking sections. These cabinets are made of jumu (elm) wood with dramatic grain. The bottom section of each chest has a large compartment with two shelves. The upper shelf of each compartment is outfitted with two small interior drawers. Southeast Asian vase measuring 12 1/2 x 7 1/2“, carved geometric designs circa 17th Century

I am offering this pretty much as an antique collectable frame (rabbet 15" by 11 1/2", about 17" by 13 1/2" if you were inclined to try to remove what looks like an inner frame). It probably dates to about 1880. For many years it has housed a chromolithograph of sailing craft, "Coming Into Port", by the American luminist marine artist George Curtis (1826-1881). The chromo is on canvas, bearing the stamp of publishers Colton, Zahm & Roberts of New York...

A rare crusie lamp with hanger, dating from the 1st quarter of the 19th century or earlier. The bowls of these lamps were filled with fish oil or mutton fat with wicks of peeled rushes. Crusie lamps were the precursors to Betty lamps and were generally made of iron or tin. To find one made of brass, and with its original hanger, is extremely uncommon.

The condition of the lamp and hanger is quite good, with normal evidence of wear...

An antique Japanese Okidoko (low display stand) made of Keyaki (Zelkova) wood. Used in a Tokonoma as a portable display stand atop which decorations like scrolls were hung or flower arrangements were displayed. Drawers were used to store items for display and the interior shelves were used to display seasonal items. All original bronze hardware.

Fine George III Octagonal Cellarette or Wine Cooler in mahogany with brass banding, having a hinged lid opening to a tin liner, slightly tapered body with brass carrying handles and the original stand with four champfered legs. English, circa 1780.

Originally used in the dining room to hold wine brought up from the cellar for the meal, the tin liner would have protected the wood from the condensation from the bottles. Now often used as an occasional or end table.

Rare English Regency Tea Chest in rosewood, of sarcophagus form with a paneled lid opening to a fitted interior retaining a pair of Anglo-Irish cut glass tea caddies and sugar bowl and original felt lining under the lid, circa 1830.

Cut crystal containers were very expensive at this time, almost as expensive as silver. It is very unusual for tea chests to retain their original crystal fittings.

English hand painted Polychrome floral decorated on Satinwood Foot Stool, 8 1/2" high, 14" x 10 3/4" wide on top frame, with tapered Sheraton style leg with more hand painted decoration of broad leaf, and removable seat frame, lift the seat from the frame and change the fabric, the entire foot stool frame is all original. There are some wear and tear on wood.

An interesting antique silver plated pinioned-lid stamp box c1880-1890. This 2-5/8" x 1-1/2" unsigned box features a floral corner applique and two applied butterflies on the top, a pin stop and corner swinging pivot. The interior has remnants of what appears to be adhesive from some missing material and it has two cutout felt pieces; it would make a nice tiny jewel box also. This item is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a slight blush ...

Fine old Shan Burmese lacquer box, circa early 20th century with one tray and depicting monkeys playing in foliate background. This piece is a real classic beauty (IMHO). There are a couple of repairs at the edge of the rim noted in enlargements as well as craclature on the surface and nicks around the foot. H: 19.2cm/7.6in and D: 22cm/8in.

Fabulous leaded glass shade by John Morgan and Sons of New York. This beautiful piece of craftsmanship has a mottled green background with pink, orange, red and yellow flowers. When lit, the colors are absolutely phenomenal. The shade, which measures 23" in diameter, proudly sits upon a beautiful Handel base. The whole lamp measures 24" tall and would stand out in any room. It is in excellent condition.

Solid split pedestal mahogany dining table made by Brown and Simpson of Boston in 1909. It measures 54 inches round by 29" tall when closed. There are six leaves, two with aprons. When opened with the two leaves that have aprons, it becomes an oval measuring 6' 3" inches long and looks like one large table as the center pedestal stays closed and the aprons make it look like there are no leaves.
