This is a charming American cornice or mantle piece in old, original, grayish greenish blue paint. Both an architectural element, and extremely useful, the top section is convex molded, and each section steps down from the one above, with two rows of egg and dart motif separating the sections.

71 1/2 inches long, 9 inches tall, and 4 inches deep at the top shelf. In excellent structural condition, and with wear to the paint as is expected.

An antique Japanese Ikebana bamboo basket in a long gourd inspired wall pocket design. Vertical ribbed herringbone weave that ends in a star crossed base. Side opening has a metal receptacle where water was kept and flowers were displayed. Upper opening allowed for long stem flowers to be showcased.

A pair of low candelabra in the Louis XV style with rococo lines and flowers. They were probably gilt originally but now have a gilt like patination. 10 inches (25.5 cm) tall and 12 inches (30.5 cm) across the arms. French 19th century.

Condition: very good with the newer patination. One candle cup held in place with a newer screw.

A beautiful Austrian Art Nouveau inkwell 9”x 4” measuring 2695 Berlin Estate

Medallion representing Napoleon Bonaparte wearing the laurel wreath. The emperor is represented still young. This must be one of the earliest depictions of the emperor, arround 1800-1805. On the edge is inscribed in french "Napoleon the great Emperor and King", the medallion is mounted on a horn box. The medallion is in bronze or gilded copper with a beautiful slightly greenish mercury gilding, it is framed by a strapping of pink metal which must be pink gold. Good condition, no restoration...

Octagon sided marble top table with an oriental style to the base. This is a simple but beautiful table, measuring 29" tall x 27" in diameter. The marble has two small chips, both in corners, and both not noticeable unless you look very closely. It is in very good condition for its age, which is late 1800s.

Jacobean or Tudor style Cast Architectural Element of Saint George slaying the dragon there are various paint traces throughout we date this at least Victorian if not Jacobean period. The material is some kind of lime plaster that is yellowish and not the normal white plaster we are accustom to seeing . An exceptional Weller Pottery table lamp with an usual base of forest ground with carved foliate stems with blue and yellow flowers. The body is surmounted by a black metal shaft holding 2 sockets. The lamp does not have a shade, and its original cord should be replaced. Condition of the pottery is quite good, while the shaft has some paint loss. The lamp sits on a carved wood Chinese style base. We are not certain if the lamp is a conversion of bowl or jardinière, the metal top fits very well...

Beautiful little antique French hinged box with blue enameling and gold gilt over bronze. Featuring a miniature portrait that is surrounded by ornate reticulation which in turn is accented with glass faux rubies and faux lapis lazuli. The blue enamel ground in the portrait matches the darker blue surround trim. Velvet lined, this makes a perfect little box to protect that special piece of jewelry. Measures 3 3/8" across, 2 3/4" deep, and 1 inch high. Dates circa 1880.
